Jalen Hurts - shoulder sprain injury; expected for playoffs

I think RB will be a committee of FA’s. There’s an insane group whose contracts are expiring, and they aren’t all gonna get big money. Something like Kareem Hunt-Damien Harris or Jamaal Williams-David Montgomery

Why spend the money when you can get one cheaper in the draft? Spend that money elsewhere. Especially if Jalen gets market value

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Dude, you were told to go use google.  I’m not sure someone can recover from a burn like that.

I think he’s autistic

I'm super against taking RBs in the first round... but my dream draft is Anderson with the Saints pick and Bijan Robinson with the 31st pick.

Every RB seems great on college tape until they end up being Donnel Pumphrey or Royce Freeman. Not saying he won’t work out, but it’s a gamble.

It would suck if we drafted a guy and he was a dud, or not ready his rookie year. I think the running game is too pivotal to what we do to trot Boston Scott out there 20 touches a game. To get a proven dude who can carry or split a workload would be a relief. And if you can’t snag one by week 3 of FA, then you start looking toward the draft.

Are we talking about Hurts?   I’d say he worked out so far.

Hurts plays QB not RB. You can find him here ranked 3rd among all QBs: https://www.pff.com/nfl/grades/position/qb. I know it is a lot for you to recognize the difference but look where the players line up before the snap. The player behind the center is the QB. The center on the Eagles is a player named Jason Kelce. I hope this helps with your lack of understanding.

I feel like it was always a mindless statement, though. The difference between who can and who can't improve in that area comes down to intelligence and desire. Guys can definitely become more accurate by just working on mechanics and building chemistry with their receivers. I'm guessing that's why Rex works behind a desk rather than on a sideline these days.

Seriously, though. If you improve your mechanics, you can improve your accuracy. Not that complicated.

Kinda reminds me of guys like Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard. When they got drafted by the Spurs, they were not good shooters. Worked with Chip Engelland, totally revamped their shot, and became HOF players with as consistent a jump shot as anyone in the league.

I don't get what everyone is impressed by from yesterday. Jalen made normal NFL QB type throws. If anything be impressed with….

You have NO IDEA what a "normal NFL qb type throw” is or isn’t.

:23 is my favourite.

"There was a point in time where people said I couldn’t throw the deep ball and I can only throw it five yards,” Hurts said. "I’ve always gone out there and played my game. We put a lot of work in. Smitty, A.J. , Quez, all of us. We put the work in in the offseason and we just want to come out here and play. Do what we prepared ourselves to do.”

Aww Jalen stop worrying about what the scrub-nuggets on TATE type. 😂

I think Hargrave and CGJGCG are crucial.

As usual we will keep more than anyone thought possible.

We’re losing something like 5 DTs this offseason, I don’t want to see Davis and a rookie starting next year with no bench. And When are safeties are good, we’re good, when they’re not, we’re not.

Draft Carter - Him, Davis and Williams already make this top notch.

I believe it all predicates on his faith the cap will balloon and the dead money will continue to be little more than an excuse to make more of it. 10 years from now it could be looked at as what everyone should have been doing

He‘s been doing it better than anyone for years. Even with Covid and Wentz and all that we managed. If things now work like they normally do we will be just fine.

🤣 You ain't too far off. I am a grown ass man and I wish I had just 5% of Jalen's swag. Not ashamed to admit it

I love that the analysts on TV - former players, coaches - and even current players like Tom Brady are praising Hurts.  They're saying he's the MVP, they've never seen a QB improve as a passer from one year to the next this aggressively, etc. etc.

Then I come here to see a few TATERs on the EMB still criticizing and downplaying and making excuses.

To be fair they would be praising him if he wasn't playing like this

Lol. More clown-boys showing up refusing to admit what’s in front of their face. That they were incredibly wrong. Ridiculously wrong.

What a "noodle arm” hurts has, right? Leads the nfl in ypa and 20 yard passes but still a "noodle-arm that’s holding back the play-calling”.

😂 😂

Who?

The funniest thing is it's mostly the same group of posters collecting "likes" from the same group of posters. There are people that "like" some of my posts on one topic and completely rip my opinion on other topics --- Which is completely normal. Then you have these 5 or 6 posters that agree 100% with each other on every post one of them makes. I have to wonder if they call each other up to ask each other what they will be wearing that day. It's comical.

Who?

Hazeltoneagle for one.

why? You gonna do something about it?

I have to admit that I was pretty unsure of Jalen, not specifically 'down' on him or 'against' him, but just unsure (like probably most of us were). Mainly because of the perception of him as a 'running QB'. Great running ability is a great thing, but I want a QB who has equal or greater passing abilities and the running ability is a compliment to that (not the other way around).

So with my personal situation, I hadn't really been able to sit and really watch him during 2020 and 2021. So that's mainly why I was 'unsure' of him.

This season, I've been able to watch him a lot more closely though, and if he is who he seems to be this year, then to quote the Monkees, I'm a Believer.

If we reach the ultimate goal, my only question is, which Super Bowl Jersey will I buy? 62? 55 (my little league number)?  1?  All three?

Smh, I'll give you a pass this time. You should've had number 62 in your collection years ago

I thought he had a solid season last year. But he definitely had weaknesses, and was a big question mark coming into this season, after the Bucs playoff game.

This year he is unquestionably one of the best passers in the league. He hasn’t had a bad game all season. The fact that there are still Eagles fans hating on him is ridiculous.

I've seen people trolling you guys here but haven't seen anyone bashing so that's why I asked. I was thinking you and the others went on twitter and social media and saw people bashing and then come here to complain about it
