Jalen Hurts - shoulder sprain injury; expected for playoffs

Good lord, are you still crying about that?

You have to remember they argue like women. Once they get fixated on something, they never let it go.

I made a comment about AJ Brown, Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders all having their best years before Goedert went on IR, and they are still talking about it the same week he is coming off injured reserve.

But if it helps, just remember you are arguing with the equivalent of a teenage waitress at Applebees instead of grown men and it helps explain everything. Although, from a football knowledge perspective, this is probably insulting to the average waitress.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

No surprise you of all people are downplaying Hurts part in A.J. Brown’s play. 😂

Go find the post with the numbers.  Over 17 games, identical to 2020.  Not sure how facts are downplaying anything.

The fact is AJ Brown is a good WR, and over 17 games, he can put up the same numbers, regardless of the QB.

Go look at Justin Jefferson’s numbers, is Cousins the best QB in the NFL ??

Nope.  Providing facts that disagree with your opinion.

Why can’t Hurts be good because of AJ ??  That is not a slight of Hurts, it is a compliment of AJ.

Stats time. Lets get QBR out of the way. Its not a stat. Its a secret proprietary subjective pile of BS that ESPN created to feel relevant. Cooper Rush is the 9th best QB to start a game this year by QBR. He is 26th in ANY/A and 38th in passer rating. QBR is an agenda, not a stat. Leave it alone.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/11/19/charlie-batchs-186-yard-two-pick-game-has-espns-best-qbr-ever/

Now lets go to Passer Rating. Its made of 4 stats; completion %, TD %, INT%, and yards per pass.

Hurts is 1st in passer rating but he is also 4th, 5th, 1st, and 2nd for top 5 in all 4 components. (4th in rating Mahomes is 14, 1, 18, 3)

Now factor in his running and he's playing like the clear MVP.

His team is 1st in points, 3rd in yards, 5th in yards per play, 1st in least turnovers, and best in record.

MVP

I don’t want to insult waitresses at Applebees. They didn’t do anything to me lol

I just think it’s interesting that people accused of racism, seem to whine more than actual victims of racism. Kinda tells you how soft they are.

Comedy.  Soft is being offended because someone has a differing opinion than you of a QB of an NFL team.

An opinion I had over a month ago. Think about how petty and infantile you have to be to fixate on something like that for a month.

Plus, you're dead wrong. All of those players, when I made that post, were on track to have the best years of their careers. And Sanders and Brown still are. And Hurts lost Goedert for a month and the offense still kept rolling.

So, maybe let this one go.

Imagine that ... AJ Brown is better than Reagor.

So you're describing yourself? You realize that, right?

Umm, I ignored it when he brought it up in RnR. But then he kept bringing it up, and started posting about it in this thread, so I responded. Because it wasn't going to stop.

That's why this place was nicer without him. And why people stop posting here.

But you like it because you two think alike. That's why you couldn't stick to your rant and rave blog, because there wasn't enough drama for you.

So you’re saying Jalen was good all along, but he was stuck with hacks like Reagor and JJAW, but once he got some adults in the WR room it is showing or are you still stinking with the Running back playing quarterback stance? So AJ Brown should be the MVP front runner Micah?

Dunning Kruger means you have to endlessly fight every stupid battle you ever lost because you are too stupid to realize its been lost.

No one really cares when a stable human being is wrong. They all move forward. Now when rancid worthless trolls are loud and wrong, that's a different story.

Those softies then have to turn their pathetic and humiliating display of ignorance into some crusade about how the people with half a brain are being so mean now.

That isn't what I was referencing.

I obviously had an inaccurate take on Hurts. Have owned up to that. Haven't said a bad word about him in several months.

Yet you on more than one occasion have brought up something that happened in the off-season, months ago.

You walked right into that and you're not quick enough to even realize. You do you, but try not to be such a blatant hypocrite, yeah?

So I can shorten the extrapolation to adding 1 game for AJ.  Looks identical to me.

I think Hurts elevates Brown. I think Brown elevates Hurts. But I also think the whole offense is unselfish, cheers for each other, and that helps make them all better. That’s rare on any team.

I would lean more to Brown elevating Hurts, but you cant to it without the QB getting you the ball, and AJ Brown did the same with Ryan Tannehill, but Tannehill still had to get him the ball.

I mean, we traded for TO, did McNabb make him a good WR ??

Why would you assume that not being able to think fast is because Hurts is a POC?   That’s extremely racist of you.  Disgusting.

Exactly.  Some guys do not process quickly.  Zach Wilson appears to have that issue, Mike White succeeds as he knows where to go with the ball.

I just slammed a white QB while uplifting another, did I just create a paradox ??

A new player has entered the game:

It's ironic that a poster who questioned Hurt sexuality has what looks like Herbert's inflated cartoon of butt cheeks as his avatar. Nobody cares bruh! This is 2022… . You do you!

Dude, he has it as his avatar because that ish is hilarious.  Did you get your funny bone removed ??

I am, I always trade for black qbs in Madden because they are usually the fastest.

No, but TO didn’t make McNabb a good QB either. They were both tops at their positions and ended up in a SB together. They needed each other.

Brown probably does help Hurts more than Hurts helps Brown at this moment in their careers. However, Hurts is making the right throws and going through his progressions. That didn’t just start because of Brown. He put the work in and it’s showing.

Hurts is a big boy now. Rent hasn’t been late. You all don’t need to be sticking up for him like a proud mother. He couldn’t care less about you guys defending him. Also, he’s playing great so you’re just spinning your wheels.

This thread should be put on pause until the playoffs to see exactly what we have in him.

Love it.

This is a reasonable post that I can agree with.

Now lets move on to Sanders.  Hurts has no impact on him.  While he will will have his highest rushing yardage season, that is due to health and usage.  This season will actually rank 3rd for him in yards per carry, but will rank #1 in carries per game and games played.  Here are Miles numbers extrapolated to 17 games and 16 carries per ( which will be a career high )

While I won't say it is Miles fault he has never played a full season, but you have to be healthy, he has never been given enough carries.

Here are the raw numbers.  11 carries a game for him is just ridiculous.

Yeah I’m going to need to see 2 playoff wins with this roster in this conference to stomach the numbers that are being floated for his extension
