Evidently other than when you get an answer that proves you wrong.

It's okay, I'll leave you alone now champ.

But you didn’t do that. You just did what you normally do. Make snarky remarks and add nothing to the conversation. God day sir.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

So his extension I believe had an out after three seasons. Overall in a perfect world the Eagles wanted Wentz to be their guy, but after all that went down they likely felt the need to have an alternative plan in case things fell apart. They were right and nearly everyone else was wrong.

I don’t know if the Eagles have been more lucky or smart in this situation. I’m inclined to say more lucky. Credit them for drafting Hurts. But there are credible reports that they wanted washed up Russell Wilson or sexual predator Deshaun Watson during the off-season, but neither of them wanted to come here.

Statistically you’re using averages, but the players numbers will exceed their outputs (baring any injuries) within the same 16 game span. Also the Eagles third option is performing better than the Titans 3rd option. All this coming from a player you guys wrote was just a running back. I’ll add look at Josh Allen’s numbers before he had Diggs. Was that MVP level numbers? Why are people like you penalizing Hurts for having better players, but fawning over others who got the same treatment? Don’t worry I know the real answer. You don’t have to say and I know that you won’t anyway.

That only proves AJ Brown is a stud that he put up big number in Tennessee with a lesser supporting cast.

It is OK to give AJ credit for being a good WR.  He has been his entire career.

You could say that with a lot of teams. Denver gave up a lot to get Russ and Cleveland did the same for Watson, but the Eagles felt enough in Hurts to at least think to themselves it wasn’t worth the value. I’ll also credit the Eagles here in realizing that they weren’t just a player away from doing something so getting one of those quarterbacks would have been a waste. They also realized despite being cap strapped and lacking talent just inserting Hurts made that 4 win team into a playoff team. So they had to consider with Jalen’s contract and the Wentz penalty coming off the books they would be in a good place too. The Eagles are smarter than people give them credit for.

You're funny.

I didn't know the word "yes" would send you into such a tizzy. 😂

But the thing is those guys refused to come to the Eagles. Watson had a no trade clause. I don’t know if Wilson did, but I imagine he did. I know he didn’t want to come here. They may have saved the Eagles from themselves.

There’s no way I would have been able to cheer for Watson. F that guy. I’m sure Wilson would have been better with the Eagles than he’s been with the Broncos, but probably not near the level Hurts is at.

I think that’s overblown too this talk about those guys not wanting to come here. AJ Brown didn’t want to come here either.

I tell you what. Show me the two receivers who went over 1000 yards for the Titans in 2020. If I am wrong I will admit it, but if you can’t just admit you were wrong. Deal?

Yes, he did. He’s literally best friends with Hurts. They talked about it when they were working out together.

Just as soon as you show me Smith's 1000 yard year, which is what you originally brought up.

He’s been very vocal about how he didn’t want to leave the Titans and he was surprised they traded him. I am sure he’s happy that he landed with the Eagles, but this wasn’t a case of him wanting to be here more than he wanted to stay.

Meanwhile this other beanbagger is trying to change the parameters of my questions to prove he’s right. You can’t make this stuff up. 😂🤣😂

Yeah, but wanting to stay with your current team is a lot different than having a specific no trade list.

I just find your use of the word beanbaggers to be hysterical for some reason lmao.

Ryan Tannehill led the NFL in passer rating in 2019 at 117.5 (only 10 starts replacing Mariota)

He followed that up with a 106.5 rating with 33 passing TDs and 7 rushing TDs on an offense with a 2k rushing King Henry with 17 TDs at 5.4 per carry.

Tannehill was one of the best QBs in the league over those 26 games with 55 TDs to 13 picks and 11 rushing TDs.

If Hurts is only a 2019-2020 Tannehill clone with more rushing upside for the next 12 years then he is going first ballot into the HoF.

The Tannehill to Brown 2020 insult is meaningless.

Sure looks like it:

Smith who has already passed his reception max from last season, tied his touchdowns, and is less than 300 yards away from 1000 himself. When Brown was putting up his numbers did he do it with another guy catching 1000 too?

So you're going to mention Smith's potential "1000 yards" to try and strengthen your argument (which he's never gotten), but then split hairs over 16 yards and say "that's not what I meant?"

Nice try.

NFL wide receivers do not have the same pull as NFL quarterbacks or NBA players in general, but any player can make a trade difficult to happen. If Brown said he refused to extend with any team then his value plummets and he’s less likely to be traded. He can also decided to flat out extend with some team so that’s a possibility as as well. With that being the case it doesn’t necessarily prevent a trade from happening. The one thing that I’ve noticed about all this so called obsession by the Eagles to acquire one of these quarterbacks is we don’t really hear about any firm offers. Most I’ve seen is people mentioned the Eagles were involved. If the Eagles truly wanted these guys Howie would go get them. I believe Russ had the NTC, but I have a hard time believing that if the Eagles really wanted either of these guys (they had the draft capital and the money) they wouldn’t be able to pull the trigger to get one. Let’s also not forget there were lesser market value guys available that the Eagles passed on as well. If the Eagles thought as low of Hurts as many of the fans and media alike assumed then why not make a move for one of those guys?

Well you wrote a guy got 1000 yard who didn’t. So you were wrong! I wrote is it the same IF Smith and Brown BOTH pass a 1000 yards. We have games still to play do we not? So again show me that other 1000 receiver I’ll wait.

Tannehill was very good during that stretch. I’m not writing anything to slight him here at all. Of course the other guys could be using this moment in their minds to slight both players.

But that's not what you said. It's right up there. Not once did you say "If Smith happens to get there".

If we're going to split hairs over 984 yards (in 14 games), we're going to split hairs over this. Sure we have games to go and Smith could just as easily end with 840 yards.

You spoke before you thought.

Beanbaggers love dipping themselves into situations that have nothing to do with them. 😂
