But that's not what you said. It's right up there. Not once did you say "If Smith happens to get there".

If we're going to split hairs over 984 yards (in 14 games), we're going to split hairs over this. Sure we have games to go and Smith could just as easily end with 840 yards.

You spoke before you thought.

Beanbagger semantics. If I wrote Smith is less than 300 yards away from 1000 actually mean he’s there already? 😂 However he has 4 games to get there and three to get there within the 2020 season parameters so it’s certainly possible. Your response implied someone on the Titans already did that with Brown and you’re wrong.

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

No, but the initial post I responded to implied that it was a forgone conclusion Smith would get there. You want to talk about semantics while you're arguing over 16 yards, but are willing to overlook that Smith (who again, has yet to even match Davis) might beat him by a few yards with an extra game in his pocket.

I don't expect much from you, but try harder next time.

9 sacks isn’t double digit sacks.

999 rush yards isn’t a 1000 yard season.
Over 1000 yards is what I wrote and you jumped in and were wrong. Don’t expect you to admit that you never do. Pretty much why I basically ignore you.

You said over 1000?

When Brown was putting up his numbers did he do it with another guy catching 1000 too?

Oops. Swing and a miss.

You don't even know what you write 😂

So for the beanbaggers and your advanced stats. This is the advanced passer rating numbers for when Jalen Hurts threw to Smith and Reagor in 2021. If you notice when throwing to Smith he had over a 100 passer rating, but when throwing to Reagor it was under 70. So even without Jalen’s improvement in his own abilities we can clearly see that if Jalen’s other WR were an actual competent player his numbers might have been a lot better. Actually sort of explains why Wentz was so woefully bad in 2020 as well. But I don’t need to write that, because you all have been trashing Carson’s receivers since they won a Super Bowl without him. 😂🤣😂

You wrote YES so that means you thought so. 😂🤣😂

So in other words you were wrong? One of your simple yes responses will suffice. 😂

Here's how the argument went down:

You initially alluded to it being a forgone conclusion Smith would get there, as a means to negate what DUM was saying and prop Hurts up.

The Titans did essentially that, in fewer games, but you're going to dismiss that because it kills your argument. Those 16 yards, I tell ya!

You then said "this is what I actually said/meant" multiple times and were proven wrong multiple times.

Friendly tip: when you start twisting your stance, saying "this is what I meant" and trying to change your words after the fact, that's when an argument is lost.

I asked a question and you wrote Yes as the response getting involved with a convo that had nothing to do with you. You were wrong.

NFL wide receivers do not have the same pull as NFL quarterbacks or NBA players in general, but any player can make a trade difficult to happen. If Brown said he refused to extend with any team then his value plummets and he’s less likely to be traded. He can also decided to flat out extend with some team so that’s a possibility as as well. With that being the case it doesn’t necessarily prevent a trade from happening. The one thing that I’ve noticed about all this so called obsession by the Eagles to acquire one of these quarterbacks is we don’t really hear about any firm offers. Most I’ve seen is people mentioned the Eagles were involved. If the Eagles truly wanted these guys Howie would go get them. I believe Russ had the NTC, but I have a hard time believing that if the Eagles really wanted either of these guys (they had the draft capital and the money) they wouldn’t be able to pull the trigger to get one. Let’s also not forget there were lesser market value guys available that the Eagles passed on as well. If the Eagles thought as low of Hurts as many of the fans and media alike assumed then why not make a move for one of those guys?

In regards to AJ, I’m not really certain what your point is. He probably wanted to stay with Tennessee, because that’s where he started his career. But if he were to get traded, I’m guessing the Eagles would have been high on the list of desirable destinations.

I kinda agree with you about the QB’s. I think if the Eagles really wanted Bill Cosby Jr, they would have been able to get him. Why in god’s name would someone choose the Browns over the Eagles? The Browns gave him an absurd contract tho. I’m not sure, but did Wilson just not want to go to the east coast or something?

We're back to that, again. Its a message board. If you're that upset (which you clearly are 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂) you didn't have to respond or continue to do so.

Just the overall point of someone not wanting to play with for the Eagles isn’t as big as they’re making it out to be. I remember someone said either Wilson or Watson (can’t remember which) said they didn’t want to play for the Eagles because they didn’t want to take Jalen’s job. A completely ridiculous response. If the Eagles are paying more why would that even matter? Players take each others jobs in the NFL constantly. If the Eagles really wanted Watson or Wilson they could have made it happen. In any case we both can agree that we are glad they didn’t! 😂

We never left the fact you thought the Titans had 2 1000 yard receivers when they did not. They also didn’t have a 3rd receiver like Goedert that takes as many catches, and yards away as he does either. Again it’s not the same, but you don’t have the stones to admit you were wrong so you prefer to deflect, and try lame insults. So this is my last post to you. If you want to downplay that Hurts is playing well right now or say Brown is basically the same (even though he’s basically matched his 2020 numbers already) then more power to you. Be happy in your hate and misery while Jalen takes all you beanbagging whiners on his back and carries you all through the playoffs. Good day.

2 things.

1. People are allowed to have an opinion that you don't like a QB because he's black. We get reports for "race baiting" but simply mentioning race isn't something against rules, and the whole "running QB" comments can carry racist stereotypes with them, that's been an issue for decades.

However, excessive trolling is. This can be very subjective, we'll monitor reports and look for trolling or personal attacks. If you're repeatedly calling someone racist without merit that can fall under a warning category.

2. We're a 12-1 team with a QB in the conversation for MVP. If all you want to do is troll and insult fans enjoying this season, seriously?  Go to RnR and rant about him there. I'd suggest to stick to football performance, stats, etc here.

The narrative Hurts hasnt had a bad game yet is almost over. It’ll take a Herculean second half to see this performance as anything better than mediocre

Weird game.  Hurts with 2 INTs but 2 TDs.  The Eagles worst enemy is themselves, making too many mistakes.  Playing down to lesser teams, need to bring it more consistently.

Hurts 350 total yards, 300+ passing, 60% completion, 3 TD 2 INT, 2-pt conversion

Maybe not so bad

It hasn't been pretty but hey ultimately it should be enough.

Missed all but the last 3 minutes of the game. From the play by play, it seems Hurts had a rough start, but then put the Superman cape on and won the game.

Almost 400 yards and 3TDs, not bad.

rough start but a solid game overall. We should've run in the 1st half more, as well as the 2nd, but I'll take the win

No passing TDs but made some great throws - I think on that second INT it was probably more on Watkins than Hurts.

Same here only say last 5 minutes, saw 2 INTs and know the idiots in here probably wanted Hurts benched, this place is full of stupid

It was good to see him bounce back after legit adversity, he didn't fold, he rose to the occasion. That's the marking of a franchise QB.
