I am a WSU fan, a Minshew fan and he should play this week.  Jalen Hurts needs to be 100% healthy for the second round of the playoffs.

This is the usual making the other team prepare for both QBs, I hate this and it should not be allowed, just like the fake injuries to stop the clock during the game, teams should be heavily penalized for nonsense like this. I know it is hard to prove but they have Independent DRs for concussions, they need them for stuff like this

Wrong. Steve young’s most rushes in a game is 11, twice, 10 rushes 6 times, and then it drops from there. 
 

Tom Brady has one game where he attempted exactly 10 rushes, in 2006. 
 

Vick had 15 once, 14 twice, 13 once, 12 four times. A lot of 11s and 10s. And the early criticism of Vick was that he ran too much and needed to develop as a passer.

Ok watched Jalen's press conference.  He said he's fine and can throw but will see how the week goes.   He was probably really sore after the game.  If he can't go, it's all good.  Health for the playoffs is the most important thing.  If he's good to go than let's finish this and get the Division Title and #1 Seed.  If not, I think Minshew with this defense and running game can hold the fort down if necessary.   But again if he can't go, there's nothing wrong with waiting until the Saints game.  The bottom line is everything needs to be clinched so our guys can get healthy.

"Shifting focus immediately" is a tactic he was probably coached to do. Address the injury but then try to shift the flow of conversation to something else to not get stuck answering a question and revealing more than the team wants him to.

Why?  Should the team have to reveal their playbook too?  They have a deadline for the injury report that's already in place.

And Vegas has not moved the odds one iota since those PC's.  They know, it is their job to know, and Hurts is not playing.

I apologize I got my QBs mixed up I was reviewing during a conference call.    Still, having a handful more in a game isn't that much for a "running QB."  Josh Allen (I know, I know you guys say you don't like that he runs that much either) has games of 15, 14, 13, a few with 12, a few with 11.  Russell Wilson (the "running QB" who won a SB but doesn't count) has 14, 13, 12, 11 and a bunch of games with 10.  Hurts has some games with a handful more than Russell Wilson and Allen and that's not shocking since Hurts is such a talented runner.  

I can agree on wanting Hurts to run a bit less, especially situational.  Against the Bears he ran too much because of the cold, and the hits he was taking from physical Bears players.  However, there was a wide open lane for the TD run where he waltzed right in.  He was smarter about it earlier in the year and needs to get back to that.  

I'm all for hoping Minshew plays Saturday. We'll see if it’s Hurts or the system that makes the offense go. Obviously I want us to win the game but ok if we don't. Just need Hurts back to beat the Saints next week.

Some of what Jalen does I believe is system related although much of that is due to his own abilities. Foles ran a read option type of system as well. Don’t care as long as it wins. I think there’s a lot of talent on this football team and as such I believe Mishew will perform just fine. The team is bigger than just one player even though that player has been outstanding all year.

The tweet posted wasn't about total carries, it was about number of games with 17 or more carries so that's what I responded to.
