I think still scored a td on the second miss. The first was a fg. But he definitely missed a few throws.

I also thought the 2nd and 10 pass to DeVonta in the end zone was late (in addition to the PI). Was that just me?

Doesn’t matter who’s the QB if the Oline can’t block, the WR’s can’t get open, the coaches can’t coach and the GM can’t identify talent.

  • So we had to listen to an entire week of "He runs too much".   What will the talking points be this week?  Jalen and this Team can win in multiple ways.  Stop trying to put him in some box where he on

Defense was a mess. Having Hurts wouldn't change that. Wouldn't have those sailed throws because he's more familiar with the receivers

The Cowboys scored 20 points off turnovers. No way that happens with Hurts.

No way? Hurts has turned the ball over. It's not like Hurts hasn't done it this year

He has 7 turnovers all year.

Blame Watkins for not fighting for the ball. Blame Scott and Sanders for not holding onto the ball in key moments. Blame Gannon for having no balls. Minshew wasn’t perfect but I wouldn’t put all the blame on him.

I’m not putting all the blame on Minshew, but if I were grading him on the Hurts curve I would be. With that being the case I’m stating Minshew did the best he could do with his limitations. Considering everything that happened he tried his best. It’s not all on him, but he’s not blameless.

Certainly can agree. He had some bad throws and was jumpy early in the game.

Yes. So he's turned it over. You're the one that went with the absolutes...

A lot of floaters. Some sailed and guys had to make tremendous catches on some death balls. Three of the turnovers he was directly connected to. The run game wasn’t  much of a factor because the cowboys played the box and tried to force Minshew to beat them. He almost did though.

The likelihood is we win the game with Hurts. It took 4 turnovers for the Cowboys to win, and limiting turnovers is one of Hurts greatest strengths.

That’s not me blaming Minshew. But you saying you’re not sure we win with Hurts because we had "too many issues” is ignoring that the biggest issue was something Hurts excels in preventing.

Hurts plays on defense? Didn't know that. No wonder it looked the way it did today

Four turnovers was the biggest issue. The Eagles had both more yards and more yards per play than the Cowboys.

There was no overcoming 4 F'in turnovers, the fact that DAL didn't blow us out is a testament to how unimpressive a team they really are.

I just wanted to let a few posters know that the Eagles lost today.  They fought hard, back up QB did pretty well.  Defense not so much.  Some turnovers too.  You guys might find out if Hurts plays next week by Wednesday.  Then you can plan accordingly.  Merry Christmas.  Especially to you @brkmsn

Merry Christmas.

Yet their fans are acting like they just won the Suoer Bowl. 😂

I feel like we run away with the game with Hurts if the beginning played out similarly. The INT that allowed them go up 14-10 really turned the game for the worst for us.

Also, we score a TD on the opening drive if Hurts is the QB.

Turnovers give the opponent better field position which hurts the defense.

But the defense owns lots of blame.

Missed him wide open in the EZ. Should have been 7-0 after the opening drive.

Not allowed to nitpick any quarterback other than Hurts even if it is factual.

That's not even nitpicking, he sees him wide open and is like "Nah im gud".

He stopped looking downfield and started staring at Parsons. Yeah he’s gotta let that go, but I don’t think he felt he could set and throw. Hurts would have had more time based on separation speed.

He stared him down the whole time and still didn't want to throw it to him.

Minshew missed at least two touchdown passes that I saw and I had to watch my kids half the time.

Minshew could watch your kids next week while playing the saints and win, but hurts would win by more

and about 3 were not his fault

This game has eliminated any system QB narrative around Hurts.

Now just need him to deliver in the post-season, and we can definitively say that we have our franchise QB, and pay him accordingly.
