Got this for grandson today.  It only points out first 4 lessons, as it a preview.  Has illustrations so even Trumpers should be able to follow along.

Fourteenth Amendment

  • Section 3

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

EXCLUSIVE FBI finds scant evidence U.S. Capitol attack was coordinated-sources

WASHINGTON, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The FBI has found scant evidence that the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.

Wow, you mean it wasn't a highly sophisticated attack to install Trump as the President for life? Huge blow to BlueAnon. Not surprising to any non-cult members.

Obviously many of the rioters had planned ahead. It wasn't spontaneous:

FBI investigators did find that cells of protesters, including followers of the far-right Oath Keepers and Proud Boys groups, had aimed to break into the Capitol. But they found no evidence that the groups had serious plans about what to do if they made it inside, the sources said.

The question remains, how far does it go? What contacts did groups like Proud Boys and Oath Keepers have with Trump administration, if any?
I do believe we are not likely to any see senior Trump officials charged. They ran away from the Capitol on Jan 6.

As time goes on the more I realize that no one is going to be held accountable for anything.

I go on Twitter and everyone goes bat crazy when someone is being investigated (Boebert), but nothing ever comes of it. Gaetz, the Trump tax stuff, etc. Why get excited?

There are scumbags in office who tried to overturn the election. They need to be held accountable.

Capitol Police officer who shot Ashli Babbitt exonerated in internal probe

She climbed through a broken window violating the oath she swore and paid the price for failing to heed the warnings given.

Had she not been killed, I hope she would rot in Leavenworth for the rest of her life.

There’s no way it isn’t Trump. There won’t even be a primary

This InfoWars host tells his viewers there is a warrant out for his arrest. He declares innocence without going into any details of the charges, or why he thinks he’s innocent. IDK, I think his tone and body language shows he’s feeling pretty guilty about it.

Reuters and the FBI really put a damper on that narrative.

My latest messages from team Drumpf are warning me I could lose out forever on being a real Republican and Patriot, if I do not send them money now.

I have never registered GOP and vote for them rarely.

Former president Donald Trump has threatened to use presidential powers, despite no longer being president. On Wednesday, he said he would invoke executive privilege to block the House Select Committee from investigating documents containing communications tied to the Capitol riots. "Executive privilege will be defended, not just on behalf of my Administration and the Patriots who worked beside me, but on behalf of the Office of the President of the United States and the future of our Nation,” the ex-president said in a statement. Trump’s successor Joe Biden will have the final say over whether the information can be shared, and the Biden administration has said it won’t stand in the way of the committee’s investigation. CNN reports that the documents Trump is trying to block include records from the Departments of Justice, Interior and Defense as well as the National Archives, which host Trump’s records while in office. In his angry statement, Trump also called the committee "a partisan sham and a waste of taxpayer dollars.”

Can he do that? Or, like so many other things, does he think he can.

There’s conflicting information on that.  One of his associates who has been coming to court said he was in an accident, then he had covid, but then admitted he hasn’t talked to him or seen him, and that he has gotten bad information, then said the family can’t even locate him.  His cell phone goes to voicemail.  And his family can’t even reach him apparently.
