If Jan. 6 was so innocent, why are so many Republicans trying to hide it?

Good question. People covering something up, trying to block records from being released, trying to change your attention to something else probably have good reasons.

Like being complicit.

We're expected to believe that the Trump's government was in on setting him up to look bad. Uh huh.

An absolute pleasure watching the left's narrative of that day go up in absolute flames. Amazing.

Holy sheet. I just uncovered a explosive video that PROVES the US government’s involvement in the attack

I really don't see what bombshell revolver has, or what they are trying to get at here?  Please explain your theory other than Ray Epps and some other dude were found to be taken off a list after they were identified as FBI informants.  That's all I see here.

That's Biden in a Trump suit (like an Eggar suit from Men in Black)

It's pretty self-explanatory. A significant number of individuals involved in the capitol storming were working directly for the US government. It's that simple.

Obviously they were right wing nuts too that believed in the big lie.  They are still human after all, just flawed.

Nope, you're intentionally missing the point. They were instructed to be there on behalf of their role as federal agents/informants. Government plants directly involved in inciting what happened that day, essentially.

No, I can actually believe they wanted to be there.   And let's face it, essentially their boss and instructor would have been you know, Trump and his government.

You and revolver need to quit trying to twist this into something it's not.

No, essentially he wouldn't have been. There are career bureaucrats in these positions. And there's no need to twist anything. The NYTimes has already confirmed that, yes, informants were working for the government and present at the capitol that day. This is information that's easily findable and validated. Now, we need to get to the bottom of just how many were involved. Don't you think that's important?

Feds seek tougher sentences for veterans who stormed Capitol

Makes perfect sense IMO.

Fing A right.

Those traitors swore and oath, violated it for a snake oil salesman, and deserve the maximum punishment allowed by law.

Disgusting.

Texas real estate agent who tweeted 'not going to jail' after Capitol attack sentenced to 60 days

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/texas-real-estate-agent-who-tweeted-not-going-jail-after-n1283303

Quote

Two months after her arrest, Ryan tweeted, "Definitely not going to jail. Sorry I have blonde hair white skin a great job a great future and I'm not going to jail" and "I did nothing wrong" — which prosecutors cited in arguing for jail time.

So glad this dopey shitbird is going to jail.

As laughable as calling it an "insurrection."

So, people did not go to the Capitol to overturn the election? To stop the steal?

What is your view of 1-6?

Do you know how many people were charged with insurrection?

I think a large number of people showed up to a rally wanting their voices to be heard, and a moronic handful of them made some really idiotic choices that day.  One of them paid with their life.  And the rest should be punished for what they actually did...trespassing, etc.  But the hyperbole on both sides is at a fever pitch.
