As laughable as calling it an "insurrection."

No, it's really not.  Unfortunately for you, words have actual meanings.

Political Prisoners means they were imprisoned because of their beliefs, which is laughable.  They were imprisoned because they broke the law.  No one that was standing around in the Washington Mall with a sign in their hand was arrested.  It was only the people that beat up and hospitalized police officers, smashed windows on federal property, breached the building, etc. that were arrested.

Insurrection, on the other hand, is certainly an appropriate word for the intention of the people that broke the law that day.  They were very clear on what they were looking to achieve when they breached the building.  Failed Coup is probably even more appropriate.  Or maybe the most accurate is Terrorist Attack.  By the way, calling imprisoned terrorists Political Prisoners is what al Qaeda does, so you and Tucker are in good company.

Texas real estate agent who tweeted 'not going to jail' after Capitol attack sentenced to 60 days

So glad this dopey shitbird is going to jail.

I love how these morons literally livestreamed the "storming of the Capitol", and 10 mos later Trumplicans are still trying to white-wash it as no big deal.

I think a large number of people showed up to a rally wanting their voices to be heard, and a moronic handful of them made some really idiotic choices that day.  One of them paid with their life.  And the rest should be punished for what they actually did...trespassing, etc.  But the hyperbole on both sides is at a fever pitch.

If the idiotic choice was to enter the Capitol to stop the vote certification, it was an attempted insurrection.

This seems to clearly be the case. They were chanting "Hang Mike Pence" for the sole reason that Pence refused to toss out the votes.

PS - the person that paid with their life swore the same oath I did. She deserved to die a traitor's death.

I never called them political prisoners.  And anyone guilty of violence that day deserves to be arrested and tried in court.  But to call a bunch of unarmed morons standing around taking pictures and trespassing "insurrectionists" is laughable.  Keep stating your opinion as fact though, it's entertaining.  Guess we'll see how many of these idiots are found guilty of terrorism or insurrection.

Were SOME there to overturn the election?

If ANY were, they attempted an insurrection.

Unfortunately for you, these claims require proof. It's kind of the entire basis for the legal system in the country. You can't just say "hey this guy walked through the capitol, he was trying to do an insurrection."

It doesn't work that way. Can you answer the question of how many people have been charged with insurrection now?

Maybe a few dozen, max, and probably at least a quarter of them were feds.

Yeah totally. They were just joking when they were chanting "Hang Mike Pence."

The cops that were brutally attacked and maimed thought it was mostly harmless trespassing and picture taking. Just the usual sight seeing tour through the Capitol. That Congress was actively in session and the secret service had to secure the VP and take him to an undisclosed location isn't really noteworthy.

But tell us more how you're not at all a trumpbot.:roll::roll:

Guess you missed the part where I said anyone who committed any violence deserves to be punished.  That was not the majority of the people who walked through the door that day...most of them were just idiots following the person in front of them.  Trespassers? Yes.  Idiots? Definitely.  Violent insurrectionists? Save for a few scumbags, nah.  Sorry I don't buy the hyperbole on either side.

That you think violence was committed by only "a few" scumbags tell us everything we need to know.

A cop lost an eye, but you think it was a bunch of people taking pictures?  Smh…

Way to intentionally miss his point. But, honestly, you have to pretend like your retarded and illiterate to take issue with what he said, so no one blames you.

Funny seeing the "law and order" crowd excuse the 2nd wave because they waited for the vanguard to crack heads and try to get their hands on Pence and company.

As opposed to you, who never needs to pretend.

Constantly downplaying what happened to defend their idol and his role in it, but don't dare call them trumpbots!

Outlaw: There were people there who committed violence and they should be punished.

Dave Moss: Oh so, you think everyone there was just taking pictures! Reeeee!

lmfao

Sorry to discredit your narrative that there weren't 1000's of people who went to the Capitol that day to crack heads.  There weren't.  But those who did?  F them.  They deserve everything they get.  You think I'm downplaying, I think you're hyperbolizing.  The truth is probably somewhere in the middle.

First of all...convenient that the lefties are all about cops in this narrative after encouraging riots for the better part of a year, but I digress.  Let me put it in caps for you, Mr. Highly Educated: ANYONE WHO COMMITTED ANY VIOLENCE DESERVES TO BE PUNISHED.

Show me one lefty here who "encouraged riots"

Where have I said thousands were there to crack heads? Meanwhile you literally said it was just "a few" scumbags.

Maybe you should pack it in for the day. Come back on Monday after a cup of coffee and try not to clown yourself so hard, then maybe people will take you more seriously.

Guess that depends on your definition of a "few."  The condescension and smugness you exude is quite hilarious though.  I don't feel the incessant need to be taken seriously in the political sub-forum of a football team's message board as you do.

Yeah? Cool, so since you said it, why don't you go ahead give us your definition...

I'm sure it will be totally reasonable and not at all a completely transparent attempt to walk back your lame attempt at downplaying an embarrassing day for you and your fellow trumpbots.

Now go one step further:

Were the people there, committing crimes, who wanted to overturn the election results, engaging in sedition or insurrection?

Regardless of how many people.

Well gee, let me think...would hundreds of people be considered "a few" when you're talking about an overall crowd in the 6-7 figure range?  Logic says yes.  You can keep saying I'm a "Trumpbot" all you want.  Personally, I hope that dude fades away and doesn't run in 2024...would a "Trumpbot" have that opinion?  Newsflash genius, not being a Biden fan doesn't automatically make you a Trump fan.  This binary way of thinking is one of the biggest issues in this country.

Uh...you think the crowd was 100,000 - 1,000,000 people? I've never seen credible numbers close to that.
