Right. 200 unarmed civilians in costumes were going to capture Pence, force him to reconvene the Senate, hold a proceeding where Trump is declared President and force the entire weight of the U.S. government to accept this scenario (all while being televised, mind you) like frightened little children.

Uhh, the vast majority of those people were charged with nonviolent offenses. To say 700 people tried to overthrow the government or hang mike pence that day is utter retardation even for a guy who has argued on behalf of riot kitchen for over a year.

We can meet in the middle if you acknowledge that the vast majority of the crowd - probably somewhere in the 99.9% range were nonviolent and didn't want to kidnap and murder congressional members. Until then, you're living in a CNN-contrived fantasy.
