Anyone who breached the walls of the Capitol is guilty of something...I just don't agree that all should be charged with terrorism, sedition, insurrection, etc. Anyone who committed violence or like these Oathkeeper scum deserve to be locked up with the key thrown away. But the 62 year old lady wandering the halls with a flag, does she deserve to be sitting in a jail awaiting trial with no bail? I believe there were all different levels of people there that day...scumbag conspiracy nuts, violent opportunists, left wingers hoping to stir the crowd up, etc. Individuals should be charged on the merits of their individual crimes, not as a group. As was just pointed out, that lady isn't going to be charged because she wasn't in DC that day. But, the larger question is, why are you concerned with certain people being charged with sedition when they haven't and obviously aren't going to be. But these terrorists were. And why is that? Why did they attempt to overthrow the government? Did they do this on their own accord or did they do it because they were encouraged by someone? And then while they were doing it, did the President sit on the National Guard for 4 hours in order to let them? The fact that you don't seem to care about the role that those at the top that encouraged and allowed this to happen, but instead are concerned that hyptothetical old ladies that weren't even in the Capital are going to be arrested makes no sense.

LINK Quote As of this week, more than 225 people have been accused of attacking or interfering with the police that day. About 275 have been charged with what the government describes as the chief political crime on Jan. 6: obstructing Congress’s duty to certify the 2020 presidential vote count. A little over 300 people have been charged with petty crimes alone, mostly trespassing and disorderly conduct. Some are charged with as little as trespassing, all the way up to seditious conspiracy charges for the Oath Keepers announced today, and stuff in-between (disorderly conduct, assaults, etc.). No matter what they're all guilty of, they followed a bunch of seditious goons into an attack on the Capitol.

Your statement of: It's pretty simple, just don't break the law and you won't have to concern yourself with being punished "unfairly" confused me since we see it used in conjunction so often with those instances, and shot down. But you stick with your anyone who was there should be held without bail idea...seems really reasonable.

January 13, 20223 yr Shockingly, I couldn't find this news anywhere on the Fox News site. I did find this though
January 13, 20223 yr Still nothing from @Kz! on this one? A whole year of saying "you can't call it an insurrection if no one's charged with trying to overthrow the government" every day and now that a group has been and....nothing? Come on, Kz...go ahead...you can do it....
January 13, 20223 yr 1 hour ago, Outlaw said: As I said, there's a reason nutbags are taking the other extreme. I mean there's so many to choose from...LA Riots, Senate Bombing, Oklahoma City, etc, etc etc. That would be an interesting venture for a documentary. How many of those were incited by a sitting president? Maybe that should be mentioned in the documentary. Seems kinda unique and noteworthy despite the fact this his supporters desperately try to ignore that critical detail whenever the subject is brought up.

I don't care which book says what about how women should be treated, it's horrifying that 19 percent of respondents answered in that manner. And pretty sure the vast majority of that 19 number aren't Muslims just judging by representative demographics alone. I agree. I cannot believe 80% are cucks.

Well, sure, anyone who actually committed destruction of property and was charged with it was a rioter, but if we call the whole thing a riot that includes all innocent 62 year old ladies walking around with American flags. We don’t want to unfairly label them.
