He said the money made him feel "guilty" because his family is struggling, too." Imagine what else you might learn by reading beyond the headline.

Right from the last lines of the CBS article. Conflicting info. It's not conflicting. Pretty clear the defense attorney is referring to the time shortly after he tipped off the FBI but before he moved out. Presumably, he stayed there at the time because of the reason you were already given, he's 19 without much ability to leave. But then once he got some money, he had the resources to get up out of there. You asked why he would stay with $158k in his pocket and the answer is plainly stated in the article, he didn't.

Well good for him. Hope he's enjoying the hookers and blow. That must have been extremely challenging for him to do that, but his dad seems like a lunatic and needed to be stopped before he went bananas.

March 7, 20223 yr Author The single most damning email exchange in the new January 6 committee filing https://www.cnn.com/2022/03/03/politics/trump-january-6-committee-eastman-email/index.html Quote On January 6 at 12:14 pm ET, as it was becoming increasingly clear that there was a Trump-inspired riot brewing at the US Capitol, Jacob was unequivocal in his rejection of Eastman’s theories. "I have run down every legal trail placed before me to its conclusion, and I respectfully conclude that as a legal framework, it is a results-oriented position that you would never support if attempted by the opposition, and essentially entirely made up,” Jacob wrote Eastman. "And thanks to your BS, we are now under siege.” To which Eastman responds: "The ‘siege’ is because YOU and your boss did not do what was necessary to allow this to be aired in a public way so the American people can see for themselves what happened.” In his next response, Jacob drops the hammer: "The advice provided has, whether intended or not, functioned as a serpent in the ear of the President of the United States, the most powerful office in the entire world. And here we are.” Jacob went on: "Respectfully, it was gravely, gravely irresponsible for you to entice the President with an academic theory that had no legal viability, and that you well know we would lose before any judge who heard and decided the case. And if the courts declined to hear it, I suppose it could only be decided in the streets. The knowing amplification of that theory through numerous surrogates, whipping large numbers of people into a frenzy over something with no chance of ever attaining legal force through actual process of law, has led us to where we are.” Yep. Just one more of the big lies.
March 8, 20223 yr Quote Guy Reffitt, the first Jan. 6 Capitol rioter to take his case to trial, was found guilty Tuesday on all five counts against him, according to NBC. Texas native Reffitt was found guilty of attempting to obstruct the certification of the 2020 presidential election, transporting guns from Texas to DC, bringing a firearm into restricted grounds of the Capitol, interfering with Capitol Police and threatening his son and daughter upon returning from the riot. Reffitt allegedly carried a gun and zip ties into the Capitol, where he joined with about 2,000 other Trump supporters seeking to stop Congress from certifying the 2020 election in President Biden's favor. A 12-person jury deliberated for less than four hours in a D.C. federal court before submitting their decision on Reffitt’s case, after a trial that lasted a week. Reffitt’s son Jackson Reffitt, who told the FBI about his father’s plans before Jan. 6, testified during the trial. lock him up! lock him up!

March 10, 20223 yr Author This complete dewsh, with yes, folding chairs on his back he took to a rally, blind-sided a cop (Iraq war vet - did this dewsh's truck have a yellow ribbon on it?) was arrested in NY. Quote Celentano, who had a "very distinct folding chair strapped to his back" and a Trump hat on his head, was seen on video shoving a Capitol Police officer from behind, causing the officer to fall over a ledge, authorities said. Online sleuths seeking to identify Jan. 6 suspects had dubbed the man #ChairGuy, and he was listed as individual #107 on the FBI's Capitol Violence website. Worthless POS.

March 21, 20223 yr Author Quote One police officer who battled rioters on Jan. 6 died the day after the attack and four who guarded the Capitol later died by suicide. Four rioters also died, including a woman who was shot by a police officer while trying to climb through a shattered window. About 140 police officers were injured during the hours-long attack. In a Tuesday release, the Justice Department said David Blair, 27, entered a guilty plea in the District of Columbia to interfering with a law enforcement officer during the commission of civil disorder, a felony charge. During the assault on the Capitol, authorities said Blair yelled at a police officer who pushed him back into the crowd away from the Capitol, "What’s up motherf-----, what’s up, what’s up ****?"
