The government recommended a six month sentence for a guy that didn't attack cops or enter the capital. There's a case to be made that more of the life losers that showed up but didn't go in or participate should get put under the prison (and honestly for the sake of public safety and the future of the human race we should probably be passing out long prison sentences along with forced sterilization for people that even sympathize with these losers or support Trump at all) but most of the people that didn't enter or get violent aren't being pursued at all.
