January 20, 20214 yr for a while, i was wondering WHY i was seeing so many light charges against the rioters.. well this vid explains why: the short of it is the light charges are basically a way to just stick someone with a charge and "get them on the books". they are charges which "cannot be argued". so the "minor" misdemeanors may seem light, but.. ohhh boy, will more serious charges be coming. the charges all boil down to how bad do the federal prosecutors want to come down on the rioters AND how badly they want to get a conviction. if one person goes down with a set of charges, it'll basically open the flood gates for hundreds to receive those same charges, as many were there doing the same things. we may be seeing misdemeanor trespassing charges now, but federal prosecutors may just be getting ready to go in dry... i wanna say i feel bad for these idiots, but i don't.
