Opinions, not lies

opinions you don’t like

And I just wanted to make sure we got the facts straight.  I was never for thinking violence is "ok”

Okay, we need to discuss this (see bolded part).  Seriously.  I'm curious.   Why do you think we are talking about Trump's opinions?   It seems to me to be quite obvious that Trump was emphatic that he won "by a lot".   He didn't seem to be expressing his opinion.  He didn't say "I think" or "maybe" or "there possibly could have been fraud" -- he consistently claimed there was election fraud and that there was "evidence" -- yet his lawyers simply failed to produce that evidence when they had the  chance.  (As it did not exist).    So where is the opinion?

In fact,  BEFORE the election even happened he said the only way he would lose would be by "fraud".  AND, on election night he said this:  "This is a fraud on the American public. This is an embarrassment to our country. We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election. We did win this election."

This was on election NIGHT for christ's sake, while votes were still being counted.  He was upset because he couldn't have the big party he had planned that evening and had to wait for votes to be counted (because of REPUBLICAN rules in states like PA - -where they said you can't start counting absentee/mail-in votes until the polls close).

Look, Trump isn't quite that dumb -- and you know it.  He knew that there were votes remaining to be counted and he knows that it is virtually impossible to have massive election fraud to overcome millions of votes  (EVER).   So he then embarked on a crusade to disparage those votes and the counting of votes in states where (because of what he said about mail-in votes), there were lots of mail-in votes to be counted.

So why do you think this was merely opinion being expressed?    Do these tweets look like opinions?:

Lawyers now on @newsmax, @OANN & maybe @FoxNews. An open and shut case of voter fraud. Massive numbers!

In Detroit, there are FAR MORE VOTES THAN PEOPLE. Nothing can be done to cure that giant scam. I win Michigan!

We don’t know how he died

He was fine the night of the brawl

He died the following night

it is unlikely anyone intended him to die

there are no suspects

The zip tie guy did not bring the zip ties to the protest, he found them inside the capitol

these are all just facts that don’t fit your narrative

Did someone throw a fire extinguisher at an officer?

Did a group of people drag an officer down steps and beat him with weapons?

Did an officer get thrown off a ledge?

Did an officer get crushed by a mob of people until he was bleeding from his mouth?

How about those facts?

Are you second guessing not flat out calling him stupid?

I beleive all of those facts, even if each and every one of them is true, have been more then well enough discussed by the likes of you

i just wanted to add to that those facts which get very little mention

Opinion

Judges don’t say "maybe the law says this” or "I think the law”

The write in more certain terms, they don’t use hedging language

But their writings are called opinions

That this is all overblown despite multiple attacks on our police force? Thanks for that.

That some have blown it beyond its normal proportions, yes

No

So why do you start pointless circular arguments about these things?

So you can divert attention away from substance and facts

 You're certainly allowed to have your opinion

Dude, I put the facts up there.  Some of those supported you.  Some of those don't.

This argument is flat out stupid, yes.

Facts

Yes, that's true.  I agree with that 100%.

Now you don't know the difference between facts and opinions?

You tried to argue pointlessly about whether you called me stupid and a terrorist

I never called you either one.  I did say one of your posts was stupid.

Just now, Paul852 said:

Yes and you have them reversed

Dude - You must be mixing me up with another poster.

Just now, DrPhilly said:

I never called you either one.  I did say one of your posts was stupid.

Think you need to adjust that number.

Just now, DrPhilly said:

Even if that’s true it doesn’t make a difference to my point and you wasted pages quibbling

Just now, Seventy_Yard_FG said:

You THINK the reaction is overblown compared to other attacks on the Capitol. Noted.

Just now, Paul852 said:

Well I only commented on one in this back in forth where I used that term..  I'm sure plenty of my posts (and your posts) in here are pretty stupid as well.
