Yeah, there's hardly any evidence that people broke into the capitol, injured people, stole things in a silly attempt to stop a Congressional procedure to certify the election.

Oh yeah, a lot of people did that. Unfortunately, you can't just toss blanket charges at everyone whose cell phone pinged within a mile of the building like the feds tried and are finding out the hard way it's tough to get convictions off that. Again, that pesky thing called "evidence" is complicating matters.

Again, a lot of people did some pretty bad things. Not sure who has denied that. The vast majority simply trespassed, and that's why the feds are taking massive Ls in court right now as they should.

Humorous, but no. I've always said the people who assaulted officers should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent. The vast majority of the people there didn't do that, though.

Bear spray ain't no joke.  I got a little on me once when I ran a little bear spray test shot together with a proprietor of a little hotel just outside of Yellowstone over in Montana.  There was almost no wind at all and the test shot put a pretty impressive wall of spray about 10 yards out.  However, there was a bit of residual that just hung around the dispenser in the air and got into my throat/nostrils/eyes and also onto the dude (who pretty much had puffed his chest out with "let's test your spray container, I'll show you how it's done").  Both of us went pretty quickly into the hotel and started to wash our eyes out.  It took 2-3 hours until the effects went away.  I can imagine what it must feel like to take and actual hit.  It ain't no party.

I’m not a fan of giant lawsuits having to determine what’s right and what’s wrong in our society... but if the right wing media doesn’t face consequences for spreading propaganda, democracy is effed.
