Pennsylvania Man Arrested in Jan. 6 Capitol Riot Told Feds He Was Allowed to Enter Because He Paid Taxes

He looks exactly that swift.

A Pennsylvania man arrested for participating in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots told investigators that he believed he was entitled to storm the building because he pays taxes, court documents show. Gary Wickersham told police earlier this year that he left his home in West Chester, Pa. and took a bus to Washington, D.C. with other Trump supporters. Wickersham told investigators that he thought many of the "protestors were members of Antifa,” according to court documents. Wickersham allegedly admitted to entering the Capitol and staying in there for about 10 minutes, explaining his participation by noting that he pays taxes. He added that he thought everything was "staged,” explaining that Capitol police purposely "did not have enough resources” so that protesters could more easily enter the Capitol and be framed as "intruders.” Wickersham faces multiple charges, including disorderly conduct and demonstrating in a Capitol building.

Yeah I'm sure the same exact people are assigned both of those jobs.

Tell everyone you have no effing clue about what you are talking about without actually telling everyone you have no effing clue what you are talking about.

He's literally the dumbest guy here, and that's impressive considering there's a guy who can't read calendars and another guy who thinks the earth is flat.

20 years for some harmless patriotic meandering? Prosecutor must just hate America.

Wow...you are really REALLY stupid. It's funny that you'd even put these two things together.

Haha, it's just a funny observation about the state of the country. We're really good at tracking down senior citizens who mostly just trespassed in 4 month long manhunts that span the nation, but really bad at stopping cyberattacks on our critical infrastructure. IDK, we all have to be good at something.

Meandering is one thing, but meandering with keys is a next level situation.  Throw the book at him.

kmart kz, government should stay out of private business.

Also kmart kz, why didn't the government prevent a cyber attack on a private business.

You realize the country isn't one collective person, right comrade?  The FBI is tracking down the terrorists from Jan 6th and doing a good job.  Colonial was in charge of their own cybersecurity and did a bad job.

Pretty sure any time you start with "Kz! you realize..." the conversation is already sinking and bound for the bottom of the ocean with the rest of the whale feces.

You REALLY have no clue what you're talking about. Honestly, you'd do yourself a favor dropping this path of stupidity you're going down.
