Oh, so if they just went ahead and found and arrested the "hacker group" , huh? JFC, you are one of the dumbest MFers I've ever encountered. I used to think it was an act.

Yes thatโ€™s typically how law enforcement agencies are supposed to work. ๐Ÿคฃ

Did you look at the charges against him? ย Itโ€™s not just meandering.

I did read the criminal complaint. I still doubt he gets 20 years. Objectively,ย he made himself a human door stop, he pushed a cop, and engaged in disorderly behavior that contributedย to the disruption of a Congressional process. It's far less severe than the 4 Puerto Rican nationalists who opened fire on the floor of Congress in 1954 wounding 5 US Representatives. Those criminals served 22 or 23 years before Jimmy Carter commuted their sentences. This guy is facing a double edged sword as it is. When the Federal Court is done with him, the Marine Corps gets to take a bite under the UCMJ. His life has been ruined by his own actionsย no matter how much time he serves. He'll deserve whatever he gets, but I'll be somewhat surprised if it's the maximum sentence.

Couple questions. Do you work in IT at all? Have you ever looked into hacker groups? I assume anyone who says "just find and arrest the hacker group" would obviously answer these questions with a no.

Right, and yet we're talking about another hacking group. See how that works, genius? You saying "just arrest the hacking group" is akin to telling a detective to just arrest the "murderer group". This is 100 percent on the company that had glaring vulnerabilities to allow themselves to be hacked. Especially when their system is so important.

What does that have to do with this?ย

The US really won that other case, arresting one guy after an estimated billion dollars in damages.ย

The funny thing is no matter who the group was he would have responded "the FBI should have arrested them". These groups are all over the world. If a company has not already heavily invested in the security of their IT infrastructure they've already failed.

GOP Lawmakers Claim Trump Supporters Were the True Victims of Jan. 6 Riot

https://www.thedailybeast.com/gop-lawmakers-claim-trump-supporters-were-the-true-victims-of-capitol-riot

Quote

Four GOP lawmakers claimed during a House Committee on Oversight and Reform hearing on Wednesday that the real victims of the Jan. 6 insurrection were the Trump supporters who were hurt as they illegally stormed the Capitolโ€”not the hundreds of police officers who were injured, or the Capitol staff who were terrorized. Conspiracy-peddling Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), blamed the media for a false representation of the riots and claimed that Ashli Babbitt, who was fatally shot by Capitol Police while trying to break into the House chamber with a U.S. flag draped over her, was "executed.โ€ In contrast, he said, Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, who died in the wake of the riot, merely died of natural causes. He claimed the DOJ was "harassing peaceful patriots across the countryโ€ in its efforts to charge those involved in the riot.

Rep. Jody Hice (R-GA) echoed Gosar, saying it was "Trump supporters who lost their lives that day, not Trump supporters who were taking the lives of others.โ€ Rep Andrew Clyde (R-GA) chimed in: "There was no insurrection. To call it an insurrection is a bold-faced lie.โ€ He likened the mob who entered the Capitol to people on a "normal tourist visit.โ€ Rep. Pat Fallon (R-TX) insisted that group were not rioters, just a "mob of misfits.

The big lie is alive and well.

Bonkers, theย true victim is the dude who broke into your house and was runningย at you with a knifeย and then got shot.

just because half the country is Trump supporting idiots, doesnโ€™t mean you can go around committing crimes with your fellow idiots.

Your walking a tight rope here dude. ย  Fricken woke libs almost unanimously support rioters destroying and stealingย private property andย ruining average joes lives who have nothing to do with their perceived injustices. ย ย

Forย me I look at it very simply. ย You take part in riots and destruction of the private citizen you should get the book thrown at you.ย

ย

Taking part in a insurrection against the government with no guns as a statement (do you really think it was anything more than a statement?)to our elected officials is not the same. ย They took their grievance to the source. Right or wrong isnโ€™t the point. ย The point is they didnโ€™t go there to destroy innocent peoples lives they went there to show the people they perceived did the country wrong notice them. ย ย
ย

of course they do the time for the crime. ย Iโ€™m not saying they shouldnโ€™t. ย
ย

but seriously how half arse backwards is rioting and destroying cities over a grievance against police is it compared to storming the capital over a perceived fraud election process?ย

Oh, sure, because they do this when tours come around too, right?

As has been reported, many of the people now being zealously hunted by the FBI were actually invited in and didn't really do much of anything, video footage proves:
