 Yes, who could it have been?  Who possibly had a motive to plant bombs the day before a terrorist attack?   Sure, it could've been one of the Trump terrorists OR it could've been a liberal who was angry over Democrats taking back the White House and Senate :excited:.  I guess we'll never know.

This.  Place.  Can't.  Be.  Free.

No, 'tourists' or 'patriots' didn't attack the Capitol. Insurrectionists did.

On the day of the vote — Jan. 6 — Trump regaled a throng of supporters with lie upon lie, repeatedly claiming he’d been robbed of an election and imploring his mob to "fight like hell” and "show strength” — and specifically encouraging them to march to the nearby Capitol.

The mob did that and more. They overwhelmed and assaulted Capitol security, scaled walls, broke windows, broke furniture and searched the halls inside for hiding lawmakers. In the end, five people were dead and more than 100 police officers were injured. The damage to the Capitol was estimated at $30 million.

They were invaders flying an enemy banner that had previously been used to wage war against the United States and in doing so were attempting to overthrow the democratically elected government of the United States.

Despite claims by Republican congressmen that the January 6 Capitol rioters didn't carry firearms, an indictment from the Department of Justice (DOJ) has alleged that one rioter did carry a "semi-automatic handgun" in the building during the riots.

The DOJ indictment accuses defendant Christopher Alberts of carrying a Taurus G2C semi-automatic handgun on Capitol grounds on January 6. The indictment also says he had a "large capacity ammunition feeding device."

The indictment's charges accuse Alberts of engaging in physical violence, entering and causing "disorderly and disruptive conduct" in a restricted building with a deadly weapon as well as possessing the weapon unlawfully. Alberts also stands accused of committing civil disorder and assaulting and resisting a police officer.

According to court documents, Alberts was arrested after he tried to flee police officers while leaving the Capitol grounds. Investigators said that three officers tackled him and found he was carrying a loaded 9mm handgun, 25 rounds of ammunition, a gas mask, pocket-knife, first aid kit and one military meal.

Strong vibes of economic anxiety, no doubt. The only cure being some peaceful high capacity meandering.

What an absolutely disgusting human being.  Hopefully the Georgia voters have her on their hit list next.

She's actually right. Great piece by Julie Kelly on the subject:

No one should languish in jail for a year on charges that amount to little more than trespassing, but that's what they're doing. Only severe bootlickers would disagree.

I love how Republicans suddenly become prisoner advocates when Republicans go to prison (Manafort, the Trump terrorists, etc.).  Your crocodile tears are noted.

Don't commit a crime and you will never have to "languish" in jail.

Not sure what you know about the calendar, or math, but it's only been 4 months since the insurrection, and they were not arrested the same day.  Not sure how less than 4 months is a year.

🤡🌏

And, you should not be part of an insurrection stopping our elected officials from legally certifying our election results.  It helps you not end up in jail.

Nothing. The answer is nothing. I'm not sure anything has been more established than this in all of CVON history.

Not only that, but Lang is being charged with a lot more than simple trespassing. The village idiot owns himself again.
