The DoD, under orders from the White House, declining to send in the National Guard isn't under investigation by the FBI.  They're investigating the specific terrorists and possibly any members of Congress that coordinated with them, but withholding aid like the administration clearly did, would need to be investigated by Congress.

Even someone like you who wholeheartedly agrees with the terrorists and their tactics has to admit that intentionally withholding necessary support for cops who are under siege, being beaten and hospitalized should be looked into and anyone who knowingly put cops, staff and members of congress at risk should be held accountable, right?

IDK, given that Babbit was shot in the neck despite being unarmed, calling in military personnel could have resulted in some serious issues, especially since Capitol police were able to regain control of the building after the protestors peacefully dispersed. Still doubt there's some sort of weird commission that needs to be opened to investigate that. Should be a pretty open and closed case once you interview the people calling the shots.

I mean, yeah, we all know the administration withheld aid because Trump was hoping the terrorists succeeded and somehow kept him in power.  I mean, you'd have to have a pretty smooth brain to think otherwise, but you still have to investigate it, get people on record and collect any evidence to corroborate it.

Yeah it's ashame she was shot, it would have been a lot better for everyone if she was hung with all the other traitors for treason.

Flying an enemy banner in an act of war against the United States. Their citizenship should be revoked.

Babbit engaged in a direct act of war against our country under an enemy banner. That's what we do to enemy combatants... we shoot them. The object of war is to kill your enemy. We won.

Normal, no. Was it less violent than many of the BLM riots that occurred throughout the Summer of 2021? Yes, by a wide margin.

Why are you comparing the 2?  Separate events different context, but if you really want to go there, there was only minority of those protesters doing violence.  Most started out peacefully and most abided by the curfews and went home.   I just read an article the other day about Trump wanting to put troops on our city streets.  Jan 6 was his last ditch effort to further divide because he is nothing but a sore loser.  The man is a lunatic.  His followers are just as bad if you ask me.

Very peaceful

"another commission"... when was the first one?

lmfao, yeah send in the unarmed boomers and retake the presidency!

What level of CNN do you have to be on to reach that conclusion?

Right, and most people at Jan 6 protest didn't do anything but walk into a building after capitol police beckoned them inside (that's on video, btw, not interested in debating if it happened). Most of the Trump supporters were peaceful and didn't assault anyone.

Yeah, I've acknowledged some assaulted officers. Vast majority didn't, though, obviously. Hate to see it.

Level 5.

Also, yes, that's obviously what Trump's dementia-riddled mind thought.  Otherwise, why in the world would you ever intentionally withhold backup for cops under seige.

No one ever said it was a good plan, but I mean, we're talking about the Republican coalition here.  Pretty much all they've got is boomers, fat militia lunatics and incels.  They're not sending their best.

lmao you're a level 8 or 9 at least, bud. But, yeah, believing Trump was trying to overthrow the election by getting unarmed boomers to walk around the capitol is exactly the type of thing ishlibs would believe. They are the absolute dumbest people on the planet.

"I'll meet you there!", and then proceeded to a safe space to watch it on TV. And the MAGA idiots fell for it and marched to their doom. Too bad the 82 Plymouth you drive wasn't in better shape, you could have joined them

I believe it was called "trial by combat". Ashley Babbitt lost.

It's also worth noting that the only gunshot fired at the capitol was the one that killed that unarmed veteran. Contrast this with BLM riots where gunfire is frequently heard. Definitely the most overhyped riot of the century, I'd say.

The consequences will tell an entirely different story.  I mean, people may be locked up for a full year ( actually 8 months ) before they go to trial.

Oh absolutely. There's no denying that. They'll have the book thrown at them for ideological reasons. It's the same reason Antifa in Portland can riot virtually every night, get arrested, and then be on the streets the next night.

It is so funny listening to you ramble on about Portland and the majority of cities burning down.  I know people who live in Portland, it is not even remotely close to what you are trying to make it out to be.
