May 21, 20214 yr What an Idiot. Trumplicans. The FBI says it caught a suspected Capitol rioter after he showed a video from the insurrection at a dentist's office Daniel Warmus, of Buffalo, New York, has been charged in connection with the Capitol riot. The FBI says they found Warmus after a tipster told investigators that they heard Warmus talking about the riot at the dentist. Investigators say they found clips of Warmus on surveillance footage.

But now portions of the vote will be inspected for a fourth time, after a judge ruled late last week that a group of voters must be allowed to view copies of all 147,000 absentee ballots cast in the state’s largest county. The move carries limited weight. The plaintiffs, led by a known conspiracy theorist, will have no access to the actual ballots, Georgia’s election results have already been certified after recounts and audits showed Biden as the winner with no evidence of fraud, and the review will have no bearing on the outcome. But the order from Judge Brian Amero of Henry County Superior Court was a victory for a watchdog group of plaintiffs that has said it is in search of instances of ballot fraud, parroting Trump’s election lies. Election officials in Fulton County, which contains most of Atlanta, worry that if such a review does occur there, it could cast further doubt on the state’s results and give Republican lawmakers ammunition to seek greater power over the administration of elections. Literally, that's the only thing that could come out of this. It's great.

Their voter suppression tactics have kept them from becoming the Whigs, but they're on the losing end of a demographic race. And aside from straight fascist power-grabs (like stripping the GA Sec of State from voting powers and putting it in the hands of the legislature), nothing else they're doing makes up for their mind-bogglingly self-defeating effort to suppress their own vote. It's literally the stupidest thing I've ever seen a political party do (right up there with telling your supporters not to vote by mail during a pandemic).

Well they're going by the axiom that low voter turnout = automatic gop win. Honestly, I'm concerned. Trump is going to run again. He's already got campaign rallies scheduled all over the country this summer. When he runs again they've rigged the game so Biden can't take AZ and GA no matter how many more votes he gets in those states. So we will have 2 states right there that Biden will win, but his victory will be overturned by the state legislatures. How many more states will change their voting laws so the legislature can simply award the state to Trump despite what the vote totals are? Things have the potential to get really really ugly.
May 25, 20214 yr I would think that Republicans would want to investigate the January 6th insurrection, especially since they are all so sure it was antifa….. 🙃
