They thought they could do anything and get away with it. Sorry, consequences don't care.

Maybe they can do hard time together

President Donald Trump asked for National Guard troops to be deployed to protect his supporters at the rally on January 6 that culminated in hundreds of those supporters violently storming the Capitol, his former acting defense secretary told lawmakers on Wednesday.

Christopher Miller told the House Oversight and Reform Committee on Wednesday that he held a meeting with Trump on January 3, three days before the violent siege in Washington, DC, which resulted in at least five fatalities.

Good. I'm sure he doesn't want to work for Biden's government anyway.

U.S. judge says Trump's election falsehoods still pose security risk

A U.S. judge said there is a risk that Donald Trump's supporters could still carry out attacks similar to the deadly Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, noting the former president's "near-daily fulminations" about his election loss have not subsided.

U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson made the remark in a written decision on Wednesday explaining why she would continue to jail Cleveland Meredith Jr. while he awaits trial on charges that he texted about "putting a bullet" in U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's head.

Good news, they are not bright enough to not talk about it on social media.  Be like fishing with dynamite for the FBI

Clearly, he meant "bullet points” as in... bullet point ideas for the next senior citizen guided  tour of US Capitol to enhance their experience.

  • About a quarter of Republicans believe in the major tenets of the pro-Trump QAnon conspiracy theory.

  • Overall, between 15 and 20% of Americans say they completely or mostly agree with QAnon.

  • Right-wing news consumption is the strongest predictor of belief in QAnon.

An Idaho woman accused of killing her kids in 'doomsday' couple case has been found unfit to stand trial

  • Lori Vallow, who is charged in the deaths of her two children, was found incompetent to stand trial.

  • Vallow was declared unfit for trial after a psychological evaluation.

  • Chandler, Arizona, police told Insider Thursday that they recommended she also be charged in the murder of her ex-husband.

Lori Vallow, the Idaho wife accused with her husband of killing her two children, has been found unfit to stand trial in the case, according to a court order.

According to court documents obtained by Fox 10 Phoenix reporter Justin Lum, a court-ordered psychological evaluation determined that Vallow was "not competent to proceed" with a trial and recommended "restorative treatment" instead.

Vallow and her husband, Chad Daybell were charged with first-degree murder in her children's deaths earlier this week.
