Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long.

How is trying to forcibly remove a sitting president during a riot not an attack on democracy?

Fantastic content.

It wasn't backtracking.  You said jail for life.  She's an old lady.  Even a 5 year sentence could easily be the rest of her life.

But since this seems very important to you, we'll settle this: I think these terrorists should pay a severe price (long sentences, death, whatever federal prosecutors decide, as long as it's a severe detergent for future domestic terrorists).  And you think they were just some people that did something and we need to take it easy on them and not worry about deterring future attacks.  Can we agree on that?

I'd recommend ice for those ankles, van.

Wow, you're really caught up on this.  Yeah...you totally got me Kz.  Much respect.

Now, back to the topic at hand.

Does that sum up your position?

1. Are you so stupid that you think the riot is still going on?

He is the cause riot. He told them to come to the Capitol and stop the steal.  To come and kick ass.

They did.

He made himself unworthy of office.

Ha, I guess as a non-richard answer, I don't think you can throw blanket sedition or domestic terrorism charges against any of these people. I think it would be virtually impossible to prove that many of them came to the Capitol building to overthrow the federal government. Frankly, I find the idea absurd. That said, yes, I would support the harshest charges possible for those who attacked and beat the police officer. I would support terrorism charges for anyone who had anything to do with the pipe bombs and Molotov cocktails found nearby.

But no, I don't think charging everyone who entered the Capitol with domestic terrorism is the proper course of action.

See, this is why I found Toaster's earlier post so surprising. I'm just completely in awe of the insane non-sequiturs he comes up with on here sometimes.

What do you think they should be charged with?

No thanks.  Leniency is an invitation for more terrorist attacks.

remember when trumpers wanted this woman arrested for a threat on congress.

This person is a Trump supporter and they shared this obviously satirical meme unironically. I was beyond dumbfounded. : Fuckthealtright

one of the consequences of sedition and d-baggery is that you wind up with this as your avatar:  Avi.thumb.jpg.aa3a60a08de52aa1e2a51054ad

What were they trying to do when they stormed the whitehouse?

Since we're on the subject, Pollack brings up an interesting point here:

Should BLM protestors who attempted to breach the whitehouse be universally considered domestic terrorists and insurrectionists? Why not?

I love watching the progression with each post.  "Air of insurrection” becomes "attempt to breach the White House” becomes "forcibly remove a sitting president during a riot.”

I think years from now I will look back at this time and remember Giuliani and kz The most for giving me so much laughter in such a disturbing time.

Becomes storm the White House.

When did they storm the Whitehouse? Stop presenting alternative facts. it's total BS.

During a BLM riot. Remember, a whole lot of Secret Service got injured and Trump was made fun of for moving to the bunker... how did you not hear about this?

So what were the intentions of the protestors who attacked secret service and attempted to breach the whitehouse, Paul. Don't worry, I don't expect a response.

More than 60 Secret Service officers and special agents sustained multiple injuries in three days worth of violent clashes stemming from protests demanding justice for George Floyd in Washington, D.C.

Wow, 60. That's completely unreal. I had forgotten the attacks were so widespread.
