Border patrol agent testified in court against protester who threw a Subway sub.

Gregory Lairmore, the CBP Agent in question, said the sandwich "exploded” when it struck his chest hard enough that he could feel it through his ballistic vest.

"You could smell the onions and the mustard,” he recalled.

‘I could smell the mustard’: Border agent testifies again...

An immigration agent who had a sandwich thrown at him by a former government employee has testified about the smell of its ingredients.

Mr Dunn, a Washington, DC resident, does not deny that he threw his Subway sandwich at a US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent outside a nightclub on Aug 10.

His defence lawyer said the incident was an "exclamation point” for Mr Dunn as he expressed his opposition to Donald Trump’s militarisation of the US capital.

"It was a harmless gesture at the end of him exercising his right to speak out,” Julia Gatto said in her opening statement. "He is overwhelmingly not guilty.”

"He did it. He threw the sandwich,” Ms Gatto told jurors. "And now the US attorney for the District of Columbia has turned that moment — a thrown sandwich — into a criminal case, a federal criminal case charging a federal offence.”

A grand jury refused to indict Dunn on a felony assault count. After the rare rebuke from the grand jury, Jeanine Pirro, the US attorney charged Dunn instead with a misdemeanour.

https://ktla.com/news/local-news/ice-agent-arrested-for-pulling-gun-on-southern-california-teen-lawyer-says/

A 45-year-old Riverside County man, who reportedly works as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, is accused of illegally detaining a minor at gunpoint while off duty last week.

In footage of the incident obtained by KTLA, the 45-year-old is seen pulling a gun from his waistband as he walked up the street, pointing it at the teen’s truck and demanding he stop the vehicle while reportedly brandishing his badge.

The 45-year-old, who is known to residents on the street as an ICE agent and also reportedly told the boy he worked for ICE, then began interrogating the Mexican American teen, asking him who he was, where he is from and demanding documentation, eventually drawing the attention of others who live on the street.

"By the time our client’s parents showed up, the neighbors had essentially come to the rescue and stopped him from doing what he was doing, calming him down and forcing him to go back inside his house and leaving the boy alone,” Kirakosian said.

The teenager’s parents had been alerted by a friend to what was happening, prompting them to rush over from their home with their son’s passport, fearing the incident could be some type of immigrant enforcement operation. They called 911 after they arrived.

Responding deputies turned the investigation over to RCSD’s Investigation Bureau, who contacted Rodriguez later that same night, arrested him and conducted a search of his house "where evidence related to the investigation was collected,” the department said in a news release.

Here's another worst of the worst. Was born in a German refugee camp. 70 years later he's sent to Alcatraz. He never did gain his citizenship in all the time he was here, and he did have a criminal record dating back to the 60's and 70s. They tried to deport him before and neither Germany nor Poland would take him. So, what's next for this old man? Firing squad?

Give him due process just like anyone accused of committing a crime. That’s supposed to be one of the rights guaranteed under the constitution.

At least it wasn't a pilots license?

A partner company of 15-time NASCAR Cup Series championship team Hendrick Motorsports (HMS) recently signed a contract with ICE that included the purchase of more than two dozen Chevrolet vehicles, according to multiple reports Wednesday.

The next great contribution to society in the US...........
