Summary of the article: The business owner thought the new law wouldn't apply to his workers because they were hired decades ago under less scrutiny. It turns out DeSantis made it more difficult for those workers to renew their legal documents. So after they lapsed they became susceptible under the new law.

Clearly the answer is to artificially inflate wages by stopping any and all immigration. While we're at it, let's bump up that federal minimum wage to $25/hr too, because it would give more money to everyone!
