Trump's immigration policy was a total failure. Criminals, rapists, murderers and fentanyl all came across the border under Trump's reign. No criticisms about this then. August 1, 20241 yr A new study shows that undocumented immigrants paid nearly $100 billion in federal, state and local tax revenue in 2022 while many are shut out of the programs their taxes fund. The findings run counter to anti-immigrant rhetoric that undocumented immigrants are "destroying” social programs. In 40 states, undocumented immigrants paid higher tax rates than the top 1% of the income scale in those states, according to a study released Tuesday from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, a left-leaning, nonprofit think tank. The study, which uses estimates of undocumented immigrants’ tax contributions as of 2022, shows those totaled $96.7 billion that year. Study authors also found that undocumented immigrants would contribute $40.2 billion more per year in federal, state and local taxes if all of the undocumented population had access to work authorization. Addresses were used numerous times, social security numbers of dead people were used, and some addresses were storage units. One phone number was submitted on about 2,000 forms.

The long answer It all started when the Police tried to search a Muslim lady at an airport in Manchester. The first footage that came out was of an armed police officer kicking the head of a Muslim man. But within that incident, 3 police were hospitalised and a female officer had a broken nose. New Govt fumbled the ball. Footage came out days later that showed the 2 Muslim men basically beating the police up and the officer that broke her nose was on the end of an absolute haymaker punch. A lot of England were very unhappy about the two tier levels of punishment depending who is the perp - more on two tiers is coming. Over the past 4 years, we've had a lot of protests/marches - BLM, Palestine, anti-lockdown, patriots, pride (etc). The way the police manage the events are in deep contrast - they let BLM riot, they let Palestine matches deface memorials, etc. The marches that don't fit a criteria are managed in the opposite manner and are often seen to have police aggravation, violence, etc. Hence the Two Tier policing that has quietly made people angry. A week or so after the airport incident, an army officer in uniform was stabbed multiple times in broad daylight for no obvious reason. Wrong place, wrong time but the perps background was obvious. Media have tried memory hole the incident as they do for many other incidents from a certain type of perp. Soon after that, 3 young girls were murdered at a Taylor Swift dance recital (above) and there was a level of civil unrest. If you go to Ireland meanwhile, the locals are less than happy with the amount of illegal immigrants in the country and there has been rioting from locals about this as they want Ireland for the Irish (more on that soon). The unrest in the UK caused our new PM to do a press conference last week where he intimated that anyone who violently protested would feel the full force of the law and these people were basically called far right/edl (who disappeared in 2015) - a slur often used over here to target people who have concerns about immigration. Rather than calm things down, he only made it worse and the new PM is called Two Tier Kier by many on social media. Working class areas (who usually vote left wing) have had persistent pockets of violence - hotels that migrants (who rock up on boats from France) are housed in have been targeted and the unrest is not settling down and inter race violence is happening between Muslims and the English/locals. The PM double downed on the rhetoric yesterday, essentially suggesting if you protest, you are far right and we'll find you all, jail you etc. In Ireland at the weekend, Protestants and Catholics marched together to show their disgust at illegal immigration. It's also kicked off in France and Spain, but that's not got so bad. AKA. The New Govt are not listening to the people, the new PM seems far out of his depth and rather than calm it down, he and the establishment politicians and media are throwing fuel and matches at it. We have had far right thugs unite trending on X, with photos of DRs, Priests, Office Workers, etc in to register the disgust at our Govt. It's even worse than what I've typed, but that is a decent summary,

However in both the UK and here the right has had complete control of the government and failed to do anything. Why? They don't want the problem solved. Its literally the only thing they have to run on and if it isn't a crises, they can't run on it.
