Maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but for most people it matters. Normal people don’t want illegal immigrants who are wife beaters, gang members, human traffickers, and drug dealers in their country.

Jail him, deport him, whatever but follow the rules. If he's committed crimes then try him, convict him, and lock him up. That would be my preference.

Trolling is ignoring that.

You made it clear yesterday that you are trolling. Fair enough, but let's try to actually follow the discussion.

The entire argument here from me, PTerp, and a few others is about the process yet you continue to talk about the person. I'm fully happy to lock him up or deport him BUT it must be done thru the proper process. Bring him back, have an immigration hearing, and then deport him to somewhere other than El Salvador OR bring him back, reverse the original court order, and deport him to El Salvador OR at minimum show actual real effort to get him released and remedy the already admitted mistake as SCOTUS has required 9-0. That's it mate. Argue that last couple sentences which is the SCOTUS ruling. Don't bring up any more stuff about gangs, trafficking, domestic abuse, tattoos, Bulls hats, etc as none of that matters in this discussion.

Now continue trolling, not tolling...

Two judges gave him due process and declared him an illegal around 2019. Six years later he was still here.

Correct. Abrego Garcia was given legal status to remain and work in the US by the court.

Follow due process. If the administration has any proof of that, they must enter it into court. Bring Abrego Garcia back to the US to stand trial. SCOTUS ruled the administration must do that. He deserves that much. Maybe it doesn’t matter to you, but for most people the law matters. Normal people don’t want extrajudicial deportation with no proof.

He had two. He doesn't get another. One is already in place saying deport him.

Incorrect. It said he can be deported just not to El Salvador. Oops on the last part.

I realize you aren’t a lawyer and don’t understand the nuances but just obey the SCOTUS and you’ll be doing pretty good.

Back to he doesn't have wiggle room I see. Even TNT and I agree on that.

Obey SCOTUS

Look it’s pretty simple. He was given a withholding of removal order for deportation to El Salvador in 2019. He was given that protection for 2 reasons: The "evidence” against him was weak. And the judge determined that he would be targeted if he went back to El Salvador. The government had the opportunity to appeal that decision in 2019, they chose not to. The government had the opportunity to deport him to any other country, they chose not to.

If the government wants to send him to El Salvador, then they must apply to get the withholding of removal order revoked first, and then give him a deportation order. Or they can give him a deportation order for any other country.

what the government can’t do is snatch someone off the street and send them to a prison in El Salvador without judicial review.

That’s it. Period. End of story. That’s how the process works. Due process exists for a reason.

It's pretty amazing that it's been explained in a very detailed manner numerous times and yet they keep ignoring it

You don’t need a trial to deport illegals. He was deported to his own country, where he will remain.

The rules for him are now set by El Salvador. Respect their rule of law.

Nope, he is not under US jurisdiction. Cope and seethe.

Here comes the conspiracy theory cope. 😆

"Seemingly” is doing a lot of work in that headline

I agreed that trump would make that claim, not that I actually agree with it.

You said there was wiggle room

He needs to be. You willing to tell SCOTUS "cope and seethe”?24a949_lkhn.pdf

They want him back to stand trial.

They can want whatever they want to want, but he’s under the jurisdiction of El Salvador, not the US.

Do you understand this? That it’s not up to the United States?

You do need to either deport him to another country or have the immigration courts hold a hearing to attempt to remove the earlier order. Just follow the law, that’s all I’m asking for.

The fundamental issue of whether it was ok for Trump to invoke the AEA has not been reviewed as of yet.

You mean the Trump Administration sold a man to El Salvador? Disgusting.

The administration sent him there. They must get him back.
