It boggles my mind how many people will support xenophobia and fascism just to make a buck. Capitalism baby!

You serious, Clark? Virtually all of the Trump voters on this board support it for free.

Effing Rogan. He is as much to blame for this as anyone. I have enjoyed many of Rohan’s interviews with the likes of, NDT, Sam Harris, and many others, but his ability to be a complete moron baffles me.

You mean the 5th male lead on NewsRadio and the original Fear Factor host isn't a source of quality information and engaging dialogue?

SHOCKING.

Being serious for a second, I know everyone gets upset when universities, law firms, companies, etc. play ball with Trump as opposed to standing on principle. But given the massive regulatory apparatus controlled by the Executive Branch, and Trump's complete willingness to abuse it to gain personal enrichment, there's really no other option than to play ball and just find ways to profit off this. Jamie Dimon isn't going to die on some hill just to see regulators attack JPM and kill the stock. We're all playing the hand we've been dealt.

Except the shakedown never ends. Once you play ball they keep coming back for more. Meanwhile, some of the places that pushed back have won in court, ie Harvard.

The flip side is if you do play ball, he will give you $$ and help. See Intel.

It kind of depends on what we're talking about. With Universities, it's about restricting free speech and the gov't dictating their curriculum in exchange for money they were already allocated. Harvard took them to court instead of turning their backs on their own student body/faculty/alums and won.

Of course, but that's a far cry from the context of podcasters and influencers being paid to give the equivalent of ICE infomercials (if cuckturd is to be taken at face value, haha.)

Short term gains

This is Cuckturd we're talking about here. If he says it, you can take it to the bank.

Another day, another video of ICE wrecking a male liberal. Good times.

There is no more long term because the entire global financial system is being assaulted.

When you accept the world is indubitably screwed, then you simply look to maximize near term returns.

So you've thrown in the white towel

Speaking of which I would have to think taking Greenland by force, dissolving NATO, and perhaps even open war with European democracies would be extremely bad for business. I can't see the same corporate interests just going along with that, but you would know better than I.

What exactly can they do about it? You can tell him it's a bad idea (and it is), but there's really no leverage on a lame duck.

We re-elected the guy who attempted a coup.

I'd say the country threw in the white towel. I'm just a realist.

Yeah though I'd say many were hoodwinked by the GOAT grifter of all time. I find it sad that business/WallSt would simply capitulate but I do understand that for lots of people money is the only thing that matters and the higher ups probably think they are immune to the horror that is coming.

There is one thing that could be done. Mitch failed in the 2nd go round which led to this. Mitch is the single most responsible person for Trump’s catastrophic 2nd term becoming a reality.

I’m starting to think the Hail Mary attempt is found in the Epstein files. That’s the only chance left and the only thing that might (maybe not even that would do it) move the GOP to act. The midterms are too far off and he’ll find a way to cancel or rig those in any case.

0% chance it would change anything. It's not some state secret at this point. Everyone knows he raped kids. They don't care.

At this point they can just say it is a rumor

And just like that, election denial became a good thing again.

And he is to stupid to realize this is also internal bleeding.
