I don't think he's mentally capable of doing another campaign, debating, etc. I'd guess he'll just retire instead of losing by more than anyone's ever lost in the '28 Dem primary and even the Rep primary probably wouldn't go well. Like Ganan said, he's probably just trying to make as much money as he can before it ends and there's no easier way to do it then doing Fox hits and grifting MAGA idiots.

So what I've heard is that it was the ad campaign that did it. Her idea was to feature herself to build for a 2028 presidential run. A big no no for a psychopath who wants to be the forever president. He reportedly told Tillis and Kennedy to unleash hell on her in those hearings, so that's why they went after her like that.

So basically he knew he was going to fire her, sent her testify in front of congress to get humiliated, then fired her by tweet while she was in the middle of a speech describing her upcoming activities as secretary. If she wasn't such a horrible "see you next Tuesday", I might feel bad for her. This is a harsh lesson in making a deal with the devil, but they are all dumb enough to keep doing it.

The alternative and only slightly different explanation is that others in the WH (Miller) orchestrated it knowing full well that Trump would watch and get irate with her. The old "know how to manage your boss" angle.

I find Miller taking her out to be much more plausible. Trump wouldn't bother to manufacture a horrible Congressional appearance - he'd just fire her. Miller knows looking bad on TV is a mortal sin in MAGA world.

Yup. I have no sympathy for anyone who ponies up to Trump and then gets thrown under the bus. He's done this for so many years now, they know exactly what they are signing up for when they do it. And if they don't know, then it just means they are a braindead moron.
