Carolina’s officials made adjustments at the half. They just called an and 1 on Duke when they refused to call the exact same on Carolina on the possession right before it. They’ve been ridiculous this half.

big run by UNC. Need to wake up and play strong defense again.

Carolina has put their focus on not letting us take 3’s and it’s working somewhat but we’ve made some adjustments. Gotta defend better.

They are getting everything inside. 6 point game.  A loss here would be absolutely brutal after that first half.

They are calling everything on us and nothing on them right now.

Haven’t called a foul on Carolina since the 7:24 mark.

What a finish lol. I can’t believe the UNC player made that mistake. Very fortunate.

Feels like Evans and Big Pat baited him but also the FT hitch probably Fed him. In the moment he forgot about that hitch

Those last 10 minutes of the first half were a defensive showcase. I have re watched it this morning

Obviously glad we won but I feel kinda bad for Withers. Especially if they miss the tournament because of it, which would be ridiculous, they are absolutely a tournament team.

Louisville looked really good at the end of the half, we looked tired and stagnant. Better adjust at halftime.

A rough last few minutes for Duke in the first half. Louisville is good so not shocked that it’s been very close. Louisville getting a little separation here to go into half is a little scary.

Foster has had a good few games but man he really needs to work on his finishing when he gets contact. He’d really benefit by improving there.

Seems like he and Proctor used to be able to get to the rim and finish more. They’re really good on D though.

Excellent 2nd half so far. Defense has been MUCH more focused so far. Louisville will battle back and it’ll be close, but a really strong response by this team.

Who would have thought that the offense would run thru Big Pat for a few minutes in a title game?

That is some wild crap and being able to a add a guy in the middle of Feb to the rotation and trusting him is crazy.

The defense was incredible in the second half. Totally frustrated Louisville. Hats off to Scheyer and his staff (and the team of course). Lost the best player in the country, and another key player, and still won the ACC Tournament Championship. James and Gillis were great pickups.

Gillis gave some really great minutes. Awesome job by Scheyer to get him in there. We needed his toughness.

*And lost their defensive coach in Jai Lucas

The real ACC Coach of the Year.

I think Khaman showing off his defensive versatility is going to be key for us. He has shown the ability to step up on a pick and roll and guard the handler up at the 3pt line and harass them. We saw a lot of that in the second half yesterday and it paid off big time.

This looks like a great draw for Duke to get to the final four.

Am I wrong in thinking there’s a good chance Ngongba comes back next year? If he keeps developing the way he has, keeps improving on defense, he’s going to be a beast.

I don’t think you’re wrong about him coming back. He’s only begun to show a little bit. I don’t think he’d be a high pick by any means. He’s benefit greatly from a full year of starting and showing off everything he has (after an offseason of improving).

And would help out Boozer a lot. I don't see why he wouldn't come back.
