November 20, 20214 yr Keep Howard until the wheels fall off. Cheap and gets the job done. Im glad he found his second wind here.

I recall him being solid with the opportunity he had. Then got injured. No dancing bs in the backfield. He just puts his head down and goes.

Scott is probably the odd man out, but I'm hoping they keep him active. He can do a little of everything and has been pretty dependable. Why Gainwell over Scott? Seems like Scott is a perfect #3.

Releasing him would open up more playing time for Tarron Jackson who has seemingly had more impact plays. Another player we don't really need on the 53 is Reid Sinnett. Oh F. I forgot Kerri was even on the team. I never hear that name.

He's made key receptions and blocks in the past. I personally would love to see us keep all 4 active. I think Gainwell is probably the best of the group as a receiver however which is why I'd like to see us continue to develop him with game experience each week. I'm not sure this team keeps Sanders when he becomes a FA, so we need to be prepared to move on when the time comes.

Expensive RBs just don't make sense unless its a Henry, Chubb, Taylor etc. Sanders is not that but he is our most dynamic RB. I love a one-two punch of Sanders and Howard but I ultimately think Sanders will want a contract that is too big for it to make sense and RBs can be relatively easily replaced via the draft.

For years Eagles fans were like: Would be so cool to have a true power back on offense and a big thumper at MLB. But that these times are probably over in todays NFL. Now we have these in Howard and Edwards and it‘s working like a charm. 😁

Being reported pretty much via every avenue he is expected to miss this Sunday's game against NY but decent chance he'll be back the following week (although it wouldn't surprise me if they decide to sit him that game as well - with the bye week the following week that'll give him 3 extra weeks to get back to 100%). https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2021/11/22/22797415/eagles-injury-updates-jordan-howard-davion-taylor-nfl-new

The line mauling people and letting Howard get to the 2nd level to punish people is all part of setting a physical tone. Him not being there will be missed.
