I think Williams without injury is WR1. With injury the eagles have an opportunity to get a steal at 15/16. If he is there, I take him

Very happy about his visit, still think he’s the best WR this year. Would be the only receiver I’d be really exited about.

He’s a big play waiting to happen. While I would love to build the OLine (Linderbaum) or DLine (Wyatt) I certainly wouldn’t be disappointed with a big time playmaker like Williams.

Yes. If the Eagles don't pick a QB, I'd like:

1) Jordan Davis DT

2) Jameson Williams WR

These guys look like premium players and we might need to trade up to get these guys.

It’s hard for me to spent a 1st on a guy that averaged 20 snaps a game and was taken off the field on 3rd down. I think he is too boom or bust for the Eagles to select him in the 1st round. Plus it’s not like he would be starting. Eagles need plug and play guys imo. Williams is injured but would start as soon as healthy and I think would be a better risk than Davis. I could be wrong but just my opinion

Insane explosive production on limited snaps per game might be ideal for us if we want to feed Smith and Goedert.

I agree with you Williams would be a damn good pick. For me it is Wilson, Williams, Picken and Olave as the first round WR targets. If they get any of them I would be super happy.

don’t be surprised if Pickens is a top 20 pick. I am positive nfl teams are higher on him than these analyst and draft sites

"So far, the interest in moving back ... has greatly exceeded the interest in moving up".

Just lends further proof that this draft class is considered weak overall (especially at QB which you have to assume is the position where most teams trade up for in the 1st).

He will go pretty well before 15, likely top 10.

Ruggs went earlier than expected and was the first WR in his draft.  Then Waddle went even earlier than that.  Williams is the top deep threat in the draft and is that player in this draft.  Teams will dismiss the ACL and he won't escape the top 10.

Considering (1) they are likening him to Tyreek Hill and (2) the WR market was just completely reset with vets getting $25M+/year (crazy money for a non QB), I think you are likely right.

I think he is going right around the top 10.  He might go ahead of Wilson now. I like both him and Wilson.  I don't know if the Eagles will have a shot at either unless they trade up and I think the Eagles would rather trade up for DE or Gardner (but Gardner will go way too early).

Could well happen as I think he is the best receiver. But he is injured and there are other receivers teams might like so..

Hope dies last I guess.

Smith/Williams/Watkins sounds pretty legit.

It certainly does. I think Watkins can be a very good #3 but he's just not there in terms of being a #2.

Since the team is going to stick with this QB (for now), they need to give him weapons that can grow up for when a better QB arrives.  Then if we could somehow get Reagor to earn some playing time versus wasting snaps.

Like many others here, I have serious doubts about Hurts as the long term solution but it does seem likely that, if nothing else, he will serve as a placeholder at QB for the 2022 season.  But I wouldn't factor in his status into any decisions ... whether it is Hurts in 2022 or someone else in 2023 (and possibly even 2022 ... still TBD), that QB is going to need more weapons at his disposal then what we have now.

Because Hurts is a bad QB they all look worse.  Devonta is good. Goedert is good. Quez showed promise. Sure we could use another WR in mix and a better 2nd TE but it's more about him holding them back. I'm not even sure a rookie WR would get enough targets.  That said of course you want to add good players to the team regardless and if you think the WR is going to be a stud then you do it assuming you don't have a player on D rated at same level.

I do wonder how Reagor might look if we had better QB play.  But that comment wasn't necessarily related to Williams - it was more of a general comment (I still think we need more at WR than what we have).  But that doesn't mean we need to use a day 1 (or day 2) pick on the position.  Personally I am hoping the board falls in such a way that we are able to use both of Thursday's picks to address defense, specifically edge rusher and CB.  And then wouldn't mind if we used day 2 to address WR with someone like Pickens and S.

I have to agree, I dont see him making it past 12. He as game altering explosiveness, and in a pass first league those kind of guys go fast. His injury was a fluke, and teams will be patient for blue chippers.

Funny Ian is reporting this when Howie already admitted to this in interview a couple days ago. Howie said he calls all teams and that the Dallas deal last year was already in place if both teams still agreed when the Cowboys were on the clock.

He just talked about it with Spadaro, said there are many scenarios but it’s like the terms are in place but only if the board falls a certain way.

Funny with his first draft and Reid walks up to him to tell him not to mess it up. First time I hear him say that he can do ‘his‘ picks now, too.

Yes CB and DL make sense day one and S and WR make sense day 2.  So that won't be it.  I think Howie will trade up for a premium player.  He's lost out on too many deals this offseason.  I don't see a situation where they pick at both 15 and 18 and just take BPA at each
