war of the worlds on MGM is pretty good.

it's a different take on the classic.

Landman on Paramount is pretty good

Nutcrackers - You’d think a movie produced by the guys who did East Bound & Down, and starring Ben Stiller, would be, at least, mildly funny, but you’d be wrong. Not funny, at all. The boys do emote a tangible amount of vulnerability which does make it possible to pull for them, but some humor would have helped a lot.

Paradise - Currently streaming on Hulu. Frequently pretty exciting but, ultimately, not that good. The writing is cable network drama bad and the acting, especially the lead played by Sterling K Brown, is worse. Decent premise they just couldn’t pull it off.

We saw it.  This is the type of show my wife loves. Cable network drama is the perfect description, and I also said that the lead actor was horrendous.  😂  It had entertaining parts but overall, pretty terrible.

My wife’s friend recommended it. That told me it probably wouldn’t be too good.

tell me without telling me the other episodes of this show are worth getting Hulu.

Jeebus , the adlib interaction/banter between these two is perfection. the eye movement from her to the ring alone is worth a free Hulu trial.

My humor bone is raging hard.

Anyone watching "The Grudge" on Vice? A series about sports rivalries. They did Clemmens v Piazza, Red Wings V. Avalanche, and Shaq V. Kobe. Last night they did TO v. McNabb. Sometimes there are Philly athletes I don't care for at the time, then my memories grow fonder the longer they are away from the game. Not so with McNabb. F that guy. The episode last night reminded me why. What a fat, lazy, egomaniac. And yes he puked in the super bowl because he was out drinking the night before....because he's an alcoholic.

The Bondsman - Amazon Prime, Kevin Bacon’s a bounty hunter for Satan. Yeah. Pretty funny, quite gory, with a little excitement. This could be a good one.

I've got a few episodes left, they're only about a half hour each so it's an easy watch and, if you don't mind some pretty stinking icky gore, this show is a lot of fun. This one has hputenis written all over it.

I actually enjoyed the show. The 3-5 episodes weren’t that great, and there was confusion sometimes on what time period they were in, but it ended strong.

My brother just recommended From on MGM+. I'm only a few episodes in but pretty hooked. Without giving anything away it's got strong Lost vibes but with more of a horror element (not for the squeamish). 3 seasons out and a 4th in production.
