Missing Reddick. But yeah it does seem that way, except a lot of people think they'll go DT or DE high. I would love to see a defensive heavy draft on days 1 & 2 then fill in depth on offense day 3.

Same here.  By end of day 2 would love to have added a CB, DE (possibly 2), S, and DT.  But that mostly depends on how the board shakes out and who is there when we pick.

I think given the glaring need at WR2 and the $$$ value given around the league, drafting a WR in RD1 is pretty much a given for us.

With 3 picks I'd be tempted to just get it out of the way. No 1st round LB in 43 years.

They could draft the best DE available, best LB available and a S or CB and bolster the defense. But they won't.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eagles use only two of the three picks - either trading up, or trading back for another 1st next year with something extra.

I had a hard time seeing us drafting a LB in round 1 even with 3 picks (should we use all 3) and prior to the White signing … even more reason to believe this move won’t impact any draft plans.

Every 1st rd pick in the Lurie era has been about passing. Pass rush DL, OL, QB, WR or even CB. I don't see that changing (why Jordan Davis seems unlikely to me)

I can get on board with either approach. Get the best talent available, whatever you don't draft high this year get it next draft. Build a solid team.

You just never know with Howie. A 1st round WR declares Reagor a bust and 3 years in a row with a 1st round WR?

Personally I've been wanting top defensive talent taken high for a long time. But he could draft 1 each (no way he stays put and drafts 3 in the 1st).

Correct, no way he just drafts 3 in the 1st.

hell yes

He's definitely a starting LB on this team.

I prefer 2-3 years with very low guaranteed. That way the player still is very much on a prove it deal, but if he plays well you just keep him (and have an option to trade him)..

I would think the team does too - but it's not such a good deal for the player.

Chargers social media is pissed he was not retained.  Hopefully that is good news.

I like the White signing but how many years have we done multiple different one year deals and most of the time we have this discussion and most of the time the guy doesn't last beyond a year anyway. Sometimes he doesn't even get out of camp. Again like this one but still.

That's the difference this team.  Last year Vikings fans happy to see Wilson & Harris go

Yeah he's no Alex Singleton... so disappointed

I like the signing. I was just referring to the history of worrying about only a one year deal

Prove it deal.

Incentive laden, "prove it" deal. They upgraded the LB position at low cost. Nice signing.

Sounds like a good signing, but Gimme Harris or Muma in 2nd round still

It's a solid enough signing I guess. He's a starter in the NFL and they needed to add a LB after losing Singleton. Most of us would like us to draft a LB early but we know what's very unlikely with this FO.

I'll say it, I still want Devin Lloyd in the draft too.

I think that‘s only true in a vacuum. I highly doubt people would be as enthusiastic picking a LB when they see who is available when we are on the clock.

Yeah that's right. We don't want a LB drafted for the sake of it, we want one of the top LBs in the draft.

I meant because there are more exciting players on different positions available but your point of view makes sense too. 😁

I mean we shall see bud. I have no idea who is going to be there at #15. I mean how many QBs go before us? If it's 1 or 2 then that's not ideal but it could be 3.

Apart from that a run on OT would be very welcome.
