At the time the NY Post was banned the government was controlled by the Trump administration.   

I am kind of curious what requests were granted from the Trump administration though.  Could be some free speech violations in there, but Elon didn't release that information.

Yes, it was definitely "Trump's FBI" that encouraged Twitter to censor a true story that would be damaging to his presidential opponent a month before the election.

The FBI didn't encourage Twitter to censor that NY Post story.  They told them about a hack. 

But, again, Trump was in charge of the government at the time.  Unless, wait a minute, maybe it was really Biden wearing a Trump mask in 2020 just like Trump wears a Biden mask now and is really running things.
