No police report has been filed, which you would think would be the case if somebody was stalking a billionaire's child.

A good reaction to a nut stalker would be to file a police report, not ban other people.

It's not that complicated.

Elon claims he moved to Texas, a state with no income tax. However, those tracking his movements can prove he is working primarily in CA. You know who will notice that -- the CA Franchise Tax Board. He has sold billions of stock in Tesla in 2022 with massive gains. Any evidence that he is spending serious time in CA will get him investigated by the Franchise Tax Board to get that money reported to CA. 

It's not about safety, or some made-up stalker going after his kids. He doesn't want to pay CA taxes.

Why this would result in him taking down the account sharing publicly available information regarding the location of his jet is suspect. I think he wanted to nuke the account all along, and this provides a pretense. 

I find it difficult connecting the location of Elon's jet with a car on the street. 

Not to mention Elon literally "doxxed" whoever it was that confronted his son. 

Not in any way defending the a-hole who tried going after Elon and got the son's car instead, he should be charged with harassment at minimum, maybe reckless endangerment given he jumped on the hood. Not sure they qualify, IANAL. 

But his son having a run-in and then taking down not only ElonJet but also all things Mastodon related is petty tyrant kind of stuff.

I would think though that given Elon's jet's transponder code is public knowledge that the Twitter account is less relevant. I'd expect the board is aware of his jet's location.

And Elon could probably claim reasonably that he's not always on the jet as it moves. 

I would just think there's more legally defensible ways to prove that Elon's spending time in CA than his jet's transponder codes. If he's in CA he's going to be at his residence there and/or the office(s) of his businesses, so his location wouldn't be that hard to prove.
