"Good point random guy, my company will immediately make that change" is a great way to run a business. The entertainment just doesn't stop

Right, same point though.  Has nothing to do with restricting freedom of speech, does it?

Pretty sure toastrel was being tongue in cheek about Musk praising a move, as Musk claims to be "pro free speech" in a very selective way.

I'm starting to suspect the apartheid-era South African emerald mogul who impregnated his own step daughter may not have given his son enough hugs

Not sure if your serious or not.  But that's a cyber security issue, not a free speech issue.

The reason some people complain about social media platforms, apps, etc is because of the amount of private information these apps have access to.  This is one less piece of information Twitter has access to.

If you want people to know what type of device your are using when tweeting, post it in your profile or in the tweet.  Pretty simple, imo.

Not sure how hiding where you post from increases your free speech.

Seems the opposite to me. Free speech means access to more information, not hiding things.

How it started...

How it's going...

Haven’t read this round, but Lee Fang has zero credibility in my mind.

Interesting from what I've read so far.

That hand was way farther up the puppet.

Police provide first official details of Elon Musk’s alleged stalker incident

A 29-year-old man from Connecticut told the South Pasadena police Tuesday that a driver in another vehicle had confronted him in a parking lot, accused him of following him on the 110 freeway, and then struck the man with his vehicle as he was leaving the parking lot.

Last Thursday, "South Pasadena Police learned the suspect involved in this case is believed to be a member of Elon Musk’s security team,” the department said in a statement.

Musk tweeted that his child was in a car that was followed by a "stalker.” Authorities said Musk was not present, and it was not yet clear if members of his family had been.

Of course it is a disgruntled employee.

I'm not so much upset that the Fabulous Freebirds had a prominent role in Highlander as I am that Connor MacLeod would attend a wrestling match. I mean, I get that he just needed the parking garage, but why not a Bonny Raitt concert or a Globetrotters game? And wouldn't Kevin Von Erich be preferable to Michael Hayes if you're going the WCCW route?

While we're on the subject that Heather was hot as hell amirite?

One more thing... If I pleasured myself with a 1/3-scale felt puppet replica of David Faustino, is that technically a BJ OR HJ?

Information that your are willing to speak freely of.  Being forced to disclose information is (almost) the opposite of "free speech".

The fact that you can still disclose it (on your profile or a tweet) and the fact that you are no longer forced to disclose it, truly makes it, "free speech".

The opposite of free speech is censored speech. You are thinking of privacy.

Yeah, that's why I said (almost).

Musk tweets: I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone foolish enough to take the job! After that, I will just run the software & servers teams.

I have no idea what game Musk is playing, but sure does seem really expensive, and a massive waste of time.
