People, at least artists that I know, are fleeing the platform. Didn't know about that. I'll sometimes search for NFL news but haven't been able to. Didn't know twitter added subscriptions for people to apply to their accounts. I know Instagram and Facebook allow you to profit from your followers
June 2, 20232 yr Elon 'The Dogefather' Musk Accused of Insider Trading An ongoing $258 billion lawsuit by company investors now argues that Musk turning the Twitter logo to the fabled shiba inu worked to inflate the crypto price. https://gizmodo.com/elon-musk-crypto-dogecoin-twitter-snl-1850497430 Quote Late on Wednesday, the investors filed a motion to amend the lawsuit to consolidate several of their claims, but also to add allegations that Musk had sway over the meme coin. The investors claim the self-proclaimed "Dogefather” drove up the price 36,000% by May 2021 just before Musk called Dogecoin "a hustle” live during a stint hosting Saturday Night Live. The lawsuit brings up Musk’s eye-rolling crypto promotions, such as in April when he changed Twitter’s blue bird logo to the image of Kabosu, the inspiration for the Shiba Inu meme and, by extension, the crypto coin. Musk’s clowning shot the price of Dogecoin up 30%, though when it was eventually removed the coin’s value rapidly depreciated. The investors claim Musk sold about $124 million in Dogecoin that month. How not at all shocking.
June 8, 20232 yr How not surprising Twitter Admits in Court Filing: Elon Musk Is Simply Wrong About Government Interference At Twitter To date, not a single document revealed has shown what people now falsely believe: that the US government and Twitter were working together to "censor” people based on their political viewpoints. Literally none of that has been shown at all. Instead, what’s been shown is that Twitter had a competent trust & safety team that debated tough questions around how to apply policies for users on their platform and did not seem at all politically motivated in their decisions. Furthermore, while various government entities sometimes did communicate with the company, there’s little evidence of any attempt by government officials to compel Twitter to moderate in any particular way, and Twitter staff regularly and repeatedly rebuffed any attempt by government officials to go after certain users or content.

Oh sure, and I bet next you're gonna tell me Elon Musk lied about a bunch of other stuff too. Likely story!

It's completely preposterous! ...oh what's that? They got it from prior interviews where Musk explicitly said there was an emerald mine owned by his dad?

June 12, 20232 yr Welp that's 2 videos I've seen of someone dying on Twitter now since the takeover. This time it was a shark attack. Fun.
June 19, 20232 yr Twitter kicked out of Colorado offices in latest court battle over unpaid rent Twitter is also in legal battles over unpaid rent in San Francisco and London https://www.foxbusiness.com/technology/twitter-kicked-out-colorado-offices-latest-court-battle-unpaid-rent Paying rent is actually not difficult.
June 19, 20232 yr Elon sides with conspiracy theorist RFK Jr and Joe Rogan against Vaccine Scientist Dr. Peter Hotez. Very normal.
June 19, 20232 yr yeah that's one of the dumber high-profile twitter spats I've seen in a while. the problem is that these idiots think they're somebody's hero:
June 19, 20232 yr That's what makes people like Musk and Joe Rogan such cowards. They have 24/7 security details that keep them safe but the people they target, like Dr Hotez, do not, and the hoards of brain damaged morons who think Rogan and Musk are people worth listening to, take what they say to heart and can decide to act on this ridiculous nonsense. People like to say it's "just asking questions" and this stuff is harmless, but it only takes one low-info idiot to take things into their own hands and go shoot up a pizza shop.
June 19, 20232 yr If Joe Rogan and Elon Musk are driving your truth, please do yourself a favor and stop listening.
June 19, 20232 yr Regardless of which side you're on, this BS of showing up at someone's home is ridiculous.
June 19, 20232 yr It was pretty funny when Rogan had him on and then bullied the sheet out of him for being a disgusting slob.
