Google has the top search engine, email client, and video hosting platform, but they don't actively block competitors from entering the market which is why they haven't run afoul of anti-trust law. Merely being good at what you do isn't illegal and it's not like Twitter immediately ceases to exist as a result, they just have another competitor entering the market, which is good for the consumer, not bad.

For a few reasons .. not the least of which is so that I'm that much further removed from social media altogether but also the privacy angle. FWIW I would encourage most people to use Brave or Firefox and avoid Chrome.
