I've heard it has something to do with reinstating President Trump. Musk is throwing his weight behind the Stop the Steal movement. You must be very excited about all this.

Well we know YOU are all in favor of censoring voices you don't agree with.

I’ve heard this has something to do with Twitter’s thought policing and censorship. Musk wanted a voice in the room.

Are you in favor of censorship?

I don't care who you are, or how tough you claim to be, that's adorable. And I don't even like horses

Are you in favor of capitalism? Twitter doesn't have government censors. They are a private company with terms of service, you can abide, or risk being booted. you know, like Parler, and every other social media site.

Personally, I find it easy to post on Twitter and not get banned. I don't promote violence. Try it!

People are getting censored because they’re writing things that are considered threatening or harassing.  Procus is putting the horse before the cart so to speak.

I agree, they are a private company and can delete what they don't want out there whether its true or false information.  The information that is allowed may change is all, shouldn't really trigger anyone, people will choose to not use it if they can't handle differing viewpoints or information.

Or even I need to find a new cliche

In case anyone still cares, Musk backed out and decided not to join the Board.

WGB censorship and goverment censorship are two different things. None of you Trumplikins have the capability to understand that.

He backed out because there was an agreement if he became a director that he wouldn't take over the company.  By backing out, Musk leaves the prospect of a hostile takeover on the table.

Um…no. That was in the announcement of him joining the board last week, so he was aware of it and agreed to it. He didn’t back out because of that.

Elon Musk backing off Twitter board opens door to hostile takeover

Which in no way refutes what I said, which was the ownership limit was known at the time of the board announcement.

As far as what Elon Musk is going to do? Hell, I don't think he knows what he will do most mornings.

Apparently he's liking tweets suggesting the hostile takeover. Would be a fantastic for free speech on the internet if he did.

Or he's bored and basically trolling to entertain himself.

When it comes to Musk, assume anything is possible. But actually going hostile on TWTR when he already has the SEC on his arse...bold.

He should launch his own social media company and make it exactly like Twitter.
