Also people on the left saying all of a sudden they have thousands less followers overnight, on the right suddenly more so that's strange. I dont know what exactly is happening, but there are not well known right leaning people gaining followers by the tousands, just regular people. That hardly seems like it's justa crap load of republicans joinging and finding unknowns all in the same day? Yeah ok, pull the other one.

April 28, 20223 yr some lefties are queefing because twitter allows cheeto to spread his lies more easily. that's what this fuss is all about.

I can understand not wanting Trump on twitter since it gives him more of a voice (though it didn't help him in the last election, and at this point, there's an argument to be made that it'll be a massive detriment to him going forward if he does get back on), but what I don't understand is not wanting the craziest of the crazy on the right back on. They should absolutely be on Twitter. Let them run around screaming the N-word and saying Joos Won't Replace Us, etc. It in no way helps their cause and has a pretty obvious boomerang effect on the right as a whole. I'm not 100% sure, but didn't Parlor even ban people saying the N-word? If so, I'm sure their moderators had their hands full, but even those lunatics realized how it looked. I say let them all on. As long as you're not doing anything illegal, then let them stay. Either it devolves the site into such a cesspool that every normal person leaves or it just makes it abundantly clear to everyone who these people are.

Even Truth Social has terms of service, things you can't say, blah blah blah. There is no online free speech - hell, your ISP can pull the plug, your web host can pull the plug.

April 28, 20223 yr Musk has been consistent in saying that he wants the Twitter line to be centered on what is legal.

Let the crazies be crazy. Not sure how well that'll work out long-term for Twitter's survival, but as a public service, it makes sense.

Plus Moss apparently doesn’t like it so it therefore is surely a good way to work things.

April 28, 20223 yr If Twitter is a "cesspool" then so is every social media outlet where people just say whatever is on their mind. But Twitter is especially known for news and politics. Celebrities basically moved to Instagram to post directly to their fans but many still use Twitter as well. Journalists break news on Twitter. Politicians speak directly to voters on Twitter without the gatekeeping of news organizations. There were instances of countries that don't have free media but regular people have got news out on social media like Twitter to show what's really happening. People in minority groups connect to share discussions like the LGBT community and what people refer to as "Black Twitter." Like any technology, it's how people choose to use it. Some have porn and links to their only fans. Philly beat writers use it to post frequent updates on training camp since fans can't attend Lehigh anymore. Journalists break news on Twitter before they write up their articles for their websites. There are different ways to use it just like any platform.
