He's going to get hit with fines in addition to paying those employees back pay.

Yeah, it's a cesspool for sure. I mean, in the end, if Musk were to cull the far left herd, then I'm glad he took it over, but I don't really see it playing out like that. You can't really push away liberals en mass because you're pushing away the young, and the athletes, and the celebrities. And if you lose those three groups, you're done. No one's less cool or appealing for most advertisers that don't peddle reverse mortgages than a bunch of not-funny old men screaming about the world today. He's running the risk of Twitter ending up being Truth Social, except he paid $44B for it.
