I mean they signed so many PS players there over the past two seasons you would think they would at least try something. It appears the Eagles are genuinely high on McPhearson, McCain, Gowan and Vincent. At least they all have a year of NFL experience under their belts now.

The Unrestricted Free Agent CB's and Safeties are better than any one they can draft in rounds 5-7. Howie isn't done yet, there is still the undrafted, Free Agents and Waivers to consider. I am sure he will try to find some players. Next year they are set again.

Just a little disappointing that they haven’t tried to do something here in the secondary. Not likely a guy they pick starts here, but they have had some luck in the past with some late corner selections.

Had JJAW or Reagor panned out as draft picks, we could have used those traded picks on solid DB prospects.

True, but they traded up to take this kid. They gave up an extra pick to get him. They obviously like him enough to do that, but it seems to me like it would have been better to just get two other guys, but hey if this kid turns out to be a special teams captain type player then he was a good pick.

I definitely wouldn't put any money on him turning the corner enough for the team to say "we are great there" and just ignore it. Deals have to be sitting on people's desk to sign tomorrow.

April 30, 20224 yr TE !! and a Fireman!!! This definitely is giving me a concussion. Howie making sure Jonathan Gannon is not going anywhere next year.

April 30, 20224 yr This last guy may have been our only really bad pick. And if your only bad pick is halfway through the 6th, that's not horrible.

Unless Howie can pull off several significant trades/FA moves, team after team will beat the krap out of what we will laughingly refer to as "our secondary."

I think the prevailing idea is that the Eagles send waves of rushers at the quarterback and hope that hides this secondary. There’s still a possibility Howie makes a trade and signs someone before the start of the season too like he did when he got Darby. Maybe that’s the kind of move they make to move Dillard. I’m hoping anyways.

April 30, 20224 yr Good draft. Team is still ways off even if all these picks pan out. Too bad we dont have a QB to throw to our new WR we traded for
