He can't see the field, think through progressions, or throw the ball. I'm rooting for him to fail so there is no more wasted time. I'm fine with whatever people think about that. The Eagles aren’t going to take a step back. They just got better. I agree with one thing you mentioned though and the there is no more excuses. Offensively their weapons are legitimate. If he can’t get the ball to these guys then we have problems. Still need to see more defensive moves.

Actually I'll edit that because one of the two ended up .500 But still one more than Hurts last year. Without Smith. And a worse oline. And again he sucked.

He beat the 49ers and Cowboys who had no quarterback and the Giants who fumbled the game away. 😂 None of them had a winning record. Oh by the way Jalen Hurts did beat a team with a winning record with that same trash team. Just sayin.

Wait I might be getting my years wrong. But who cares anyway? Wentz is long gone. This isn't a Hurts Wentz competition. They both have sucked. How about getting an actual franchise qb

April 29, 20223 yr It's a monster move. I mean all of a sudden this receiving corps looks very good. AJ and Smith with Watkins as the #3! Add in Goedert, Gainwell and Sanders (if he can find his catching hands again) and an elite OL and run game and this offense better be elite.
April 29, 20223 yr https://www.titansreport.com/topic/44553-titans-trade-ajb-to-eagles/ They are fuming! Best WR in franchise history and they get rid of him. Makes me sick. He’s the exact type of player you want. Ultimate competitor. F jrob. How do you trade the best WR Nashville has ever seen for pick 18? I'm livid. Can't believe we traded our best player. I'm stunned Gotta say as a fan of over 44 years this is about it for me. Never had a talent like this at WR. Fing joke.

I mean they traded a legit top 10 WR in the league for an unknown quantity and they did so for a first and a third. I mean I'm not sure Burks is going to be special in the NFL. His 40 time + 3 cone is bad.

I know that there's only been 2 guys in nfl history with a similarly bad 40 and cone drill time that have been good in the NFL. I'm not saying Burks is going to be a bust but I'm not sure on him. AJ on the other hand is legit.

A first and a third in the same year is hardly a steal, Brandon Marshall was 25 and coming off 3 straight 100 catch 1000 yard seasons and was gotten for 2 second rounders over two years. The only reason this looks like a decent deal for the Eagles is because of what the Horses ass front office in Jacksonville was willing to pay Christian Kirk. I don't hate it as a trade and I firmly hope he absolutely lights it up but he's completed a full slate of games once in three years and had surgery on both knees before last season, the price looks top end and it'll be interesting to see how his contract fits in a couple of years when some other guys need extending (hell it'll be interesting to see how it fits this year tbh).
April 29, 20223 yr I'm good with trading for AJ brown... Beats ending up with another Agholor or Reagor
April 29, 20223 yr In the NFL Smith has to be the best wr brown will be lining up with... He's got that going for him here
April 29, 20223 yr The have the pieces. Now Hurts just has to get his timing settled in and hit these guys. No excuses.
April 29, 20223 yr Hmm...top 5 WR in the NFL or unknown rookie WR? Howie killed this draft night. Anyone saying different need to get their head evaluated.

Like the AJB trade, but trading 3 additional picks to move up 2 places seems like a reach, especially with Hamilton still on the board.

He isn't top 5 in the league, he's very good but he isn't top 5, Adams, Kupp, Hill, Hopkins, Evans, Jefferson and Diggs off the top of my head are better. You could make a case for a few more. Given how Jefferson, Waddle, Smith, Higgins, Lamb and Chase have gone the last couple of years, I'd argue there's never been a better time to take a shot on a rookie receiver, the fact Howie picked the biggest dud in either class notwithstanding.
