Strong is a great pickup as an UDFA.

But not looking forward to the "Strong Era” poster, or the demands that he starts after he has a good game against the New York Jets 3rd stringers in pre-season.

What if he goes undefeated in joint practices ??

But how many yards did he run for?

That’s completely different. Cut Hurts and Minshew and give him whatever he wants.

 Hurts limited him.

I thought Hurts had tunnel vision with Smith, Hurts limited Watkins.

BTW, AJ Brown didn't exactly set the league on fire did he?

Any word on Justyn Ross?

LOL @ folks who wanted Howie to spend #51 on Strong.

We need a couple upgrades ASAP! Better get on the phone and pry Marquez Stevenson away from his team!

Best QB in the draft

I'll tell you what, if the OL holds up Hurts is out of a job.

That's my man, the endzone finder!! And he doesn't have a blazing 40.

Everyone whining about day 3 should be quiet now?

how did we do outlaw?

Howie signed this kid 5 minutes after the draft was over. I guess it only took that long to compile the list of the undrafted and select a CB!

Hurts limited each receiver.

How did Carson Strong not get drafted, this was definitely a weird draft.

Because he looks like a USFL quarterback?

So far he's still unsigned.

Talked about a chip because no schools would give him a chance. He put in the work and earned it. Guy seems mentally tough. Talks about working with Jordan Palmer (who worked with Josh Allen).

Talks about the surgery in 2021 was supposed to take a year but he was playing after 6 months. Not an excuse, but he said he had to compensate, which to me could have caused some mechanical issues.

Sad part is when he talks about not caring if he was drafted first or seventh round or an UDFA (back in March)  because he is used to making it the hard way and he is going to work. Doesn't care about the money and he said it doesn't matter where you get drafted it's about the work you put in.

I love the end when he talks about taking shots, but taking what teams give you and moving the ball...then knocking out the defense when they adjust to small jabs. Love this kid. (6:55 in the video)

Man, I hope this kid works and turns himself into Tom Brady in a few years. I'd love to catch lighting in a Bottle. Everybody's got a dream.

Wow, look at those intangiables and work ethic.  Even more impressive, he can make NFL throws.

I think the jury is still out on Smith.

Know what the jury isn’t out on? The shape of the earth…and DeVonta Smith.

Bwahahahahaha…yeah, amazing how in that run first offense he’s only put up 3000 yards his first three years. What a scrub.

I’m pretty psyched man. You know how bad I wanted Davis. Glad Howie felt the same. Jurgens is our heir apparent to Kelce which lets Dickerson stay at LG, keeping that insane tandem with Mailata intact. Dean is potentially the steal of the draft in R3. I’m a big fan of Kyron. He has amazing change of direction skills and quickness. I feel he competes with, and beats out, Patrick Johnson for the Reddick backup spot. Calcaterra has some injury red flags that worry me but he’s a 6th rounder. Low risk, possible high reward as TE2. Has historically been a real red zone weapon, but he’s the one I’m hesitant about. Oh, and not to mention…AJ BROWN!

So far with UDFA I’m excited. Wasn’t a big fan of taking Strong on day 2, but as an UDFA? F yeah. Kennedy Brooks has a great shot to make this team (not sure how he was Undrafted). Goodrich, Blankenship, Blackwell and Jobe add to the young DB room. May the best men win the roster spots.

Overall, I’m excited for the manner in which we’ve approached the off-season the last two years.

They would have some of these deals worked out before the draft is over.

Just wait until he is unleashed by Carson Strong

Yep. He has a long way to go, but if he can show enough potential that they don't have to draft a QB early next year it will be huge for the team. DE/S/CB with the two first and the 2nd.
