what she's talking about here is the concept of absolute truth, which tends to be a very animating concept especially around dogmatic individuals, and how at Wikipedia they're often caught between arguments from contributors who are each advocating for "their" version of the truth.

she's saying that what Wikipedians orient themselves towards, instead of one of the combating "absolute truths" on a given subject, is the best truth as we know it now based on information at hand.

this should not be controversial.

it can, however, be easily misconstrued and willfully misunderstood if you want to lead idiotic sheep like "It Hurts" by the nose.
