Uh, it's the Olympics. Maybe you should chill out and let people enjoy cheering for their country. It's not like they're trying to make a point about the WNBA. Likewise, nobody cares about gymnastics either except for once every 4 years.

Would featuring for example the women's gymnastics team be more acceptable to you (if they had won gold 7x in a row), or the US women's soccer team?

I dont know, man.  That would have made sense.  Youll have to ask Nike why they couldnt simply honor the team for their many achievements and instead had to use platitudes that are clearly insane.
