I'm cool with it as long as it isn't the parents forcing it on their kids.  The Texas case comes to mind in that instance.  I don't believe hormone treatments, blockers, etc...should be allowed until kids become adults.

I agree with that. This looks like a chart on breast surgeries. Really hope that isn't happening on children.

Having basic human compassion would probably mean that you want to see less transgenderism in society not more. Suicide rates are around 50% for these people. So, yes, it's probably not a good thing if more and more people are suffering from gender dysphoria/mental illness if we're talking about the basic well-being of society, which we all have a stake in, right?

I also think the alarming rise in transgenderism probably isn't a completely natural phenomenon and might have something to do with the pro LGBTQAA+ propaganda that's become rampant, and that liberals want to subject children to in schools and on children's tv shows.

And of course I don't really care if some people I don't know want to lop off their genitals, but, yes, it should be alarming that we're seeing a steep rise in this phenomenon. I mean, you have kids, right? Would you be ok if they were trans? Would you want your grandkids to be trans? Of course not.

I want my children to be healthy, happy and successful. There's nothing beyond that I "want" or "don't want" from them. I can't imagine anyone who has children would actually go around asking parents this question.

Right, and knowing that gender dysphoria is a mental illness that leads to something close to a 50% suicide rate and is linked to other mental issues, you probably wouldn't want them to be trans if you want them to be "healthy and happy." Look, this wasn't supposed to be a big gotcha moment, it's ok to say you wouldn't want your children to have gender dysphoria.

The mental "issues" are most likely not being accepted because their parents didn't WANT a trans child either. It doesn't take a genius to figure these things out kz.

Or we can be adults and understand that when someone is born with a P, they are male, and that believing themselves to be a female trapped in the wrong body is a sign of some serious mental issues. That lopping off your genitals and having doctors mold the remnants into other genitals isn't the sign of a mentally healthy person, right?

Like I said, I'm not going to say "I don't want a trans child" just as I would never say "I don't want a gay child". Just not something I'd ever say.

kids can't handle losing their cell phones for two hours without having a mental breakdown. not sure how they can handle making a decision on changing their gender during puberty. leave it until they are adults. of course they cant legally have a beer while making the choice at 18.

I'd prefer my child not to be mentally ill or suicidal. I'm not going to go as far as to say being trans would lead to either of those things. All I can do is raise them the best I can and let them make their own decisions. I would never approve any type of life altering decisions for them under the age of 18. That's where I stand. It's not an easy subject, that's for sure.
