What are you confused by? Why people don’t give a F when pedos die? Is it how Waldo can afford that sweet sniper rifle when like you, he’s poor? Or is it at the awful spelling of sexuality?

She married her brother for immigration fraud purposes. At least, that’s the insinuation. It’s never been proven, but it’s more than a wild internet conspiracy.

so the FBI investigating Omar for this is cool, but investigating Trump's involvement in Jan 6 is "weaponizing the DOJ" according to some here?

Totally normal response to a story about a congresswoman marrying her brother to commit immigration fraud.

They don't think these comparisons through.  First of all, teachers say they want parent involvement and support.  Help with homework, model and encourage reading, etc.

Second, parents aren't just randomly wanting to walk in and control teaching.  In the comparison to surgery, if there were repeated reports that a particular surgeon had questionable tactics and parents were concerned about the quality of care their child received, of course they would be concerned and not have their child go to that surgeon.  With public schools your choice is to pay for private school instead...but our taxes pay for public school so parent have every right to be concerned about any aspect of what happens to their child on their watch.

Probably for the best. The more progressive liberals abort their children, the less they will spawn

The problem is most parents are walking in to school boards to complain about a problem that doesn't exist.

When they're told it doesn't exist they don't buy it, and are convinced the school board is "in on it," whatever "it" is.

Because for the most part parents are also stupid.

Stupid is the real pandemic.

All of them educated by the very system yet you fail to see the irony in it.

Frankly at this point, they have made that term so diminished that short of a KKK rally most sane people just roll their eyes. Hiking? Seriously, "BIPOC” groups do us all a favor and STFU.

Yeah, fox news et al.

These parents have become the very thing they claim to hate. Brainwashed lemmings marching to the beat of the media.

They are but there is plenty going on in the schools that is concerning enough to warrant real debate.

In SOME schools, yes. Specifically some if the larger city school districts.

But in most districts where you see parents melting down at school board meetings? No.

At most there are some DEI initiatives that had broad public support (because they do not contain anything controversial) before the right started their FUD campaign about all things race. Now even those formerly popular programs are being attacked because these fear baited parents have been convinced by Tucker & co. that their school is "under attack."

It's ridiculous. These parents are letting their emotions getting the better if them and have divorced themselves from all reason.

What are you basing this assertion on? I have no doubt both situations are occurring but what evidence do you have regarding how much is just parents melt down based on nothing vs. concerns that have some level of legitimacy?

One would have to be a parent of a school age child to make such claims IMO

Well I think he is one of those but he can only talk about his own school with full authority without reviewing general studies.

If you really want to know what’s going on in public schools then you have to ask the guy who lives in Sweden.
