Traditional liberals don't like the far left woke either and traditional conservatives don't have a home anymore because the GOP is a nuthouse.

The Democratic Party now owns this leftist insanity and no amount of wordsmithing will change that because now everyone knows this is what they actually believe.

No. They do own it yes, but they don't believe it. On the other hand they absolutely enable it by not calling it out more often and with more clarity and strength. I remember having this same discussion about the Republicans not calling out the idiocy of their fringe with enough muster and frequency. In the end it was too little and too late and they were subsequently consumed by the fringe. Of course there is no version of Trump on the left, yet.

There is a majority along the middle lines, there is middle ground to be had. But the fringes of the 2 major parties have polarized the voting base. Is it time for a centrist party?

Thats because they have told everyone. And we thank them for beinig honest about that.

I'm not sure there ever can be, I dont see a populous route for the left to run on, maybe I am missing something?

The culture wars are all the right has and they know it.

I thought Democrats might try to big tent the moderates with the progressives, but they can't figure it out.

December 2, 20213 yr Here's the left losing their ish at a world famous children's book writer. First they got his initial appearance at the university rescinded, then they protested outside of the venue when they moved it off-campus. I had hoped we were moving past this insanity, but the dumbest cult on the planet remains steadfast in proving their stupidity:
